Q. What is Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass and why have I received it?

A. ​Sodexo Multi-Benefit Pass​ is a prepaid card with 3-years validity that can
support multiple employee benefits on one card. It is a 2-in-1 card that consists
of: 1) Meal card 2) Multi-Benefit card ​for non-meal benefits.
You have received this card as Sodexo and Zeta have merged their operations in
India to offer best-in-class employee benefits. As a result of this partnership, all
Zeta users will be migrated to Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass, while the app remains
the same

Q. How do I use this card?


A. ​Meal Benefits:​ Swipe the card at Sodexo affiliated meal merchant outlets
across India for the purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages
B.​ Non-Meal Benefits:​ Insert the chip at RuPay accepting outlets to use your Non-Meal benefits ​if your company has
opted for non-meal benefits​. You will need to upload a copy of the bills via the Zeta App. The same will be
transferred to your reimbursement wallet on the card post approval from your company. This account can be used
anywhere on RuPay network. However, money cannot be transferred to a personal bank account or withdrawn from
any ATM

Q. What happens to my unused balance on the current Zeta card?


A. You can continue using the balance on your zeta card. However, all your new credits will be loaded on the
Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass. Load amount and loading date will be as per your company’s policy

Q. What changes for me after moving to Sodexo?

Q. What benefits am I eligible for through this card?


A. The benefits you can avail on this card are decided by your company’s HR team and it might be different for
different employees depending on company policy. The limits are also set by the HR team. Please reach out to your
HR team for further clarity on your eligibility

Q. Is the card validity same for all benefits?


A. Yes, the card validity is 3 years for all benefits.

Q. How do I start using the new card?


A. You will receive the card in an inactive mode for security reasons. Please activate your card as per the steps
mentioned in the welcome kit. Subsequently, you will receive new credits on this card

Q. How do I activate my Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass?


A. The card must be activated before usage which can be done by following some simple instructions mentioned in
the welcome kit that you will receive along with the card.
Activate your card online by visiting the card activation portal ​https://activation.sodexobrs.com
● Enter your official registered email address/ mobile number
● Enter the 12-digit card reference number (mentioned on the Welcome Letter)
● Click on ‘Get Activation Code’
● Provide Officially Valid Document* details to complete KYC
● Enter activation code (received on email/ SMS)
● Complete OTP-based mobile number verification
● Click on ‘Activate Card’
*Officially Valid documents include Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhaar

Q. How can I link my Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass to the Zeta app?


A. ​The Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass gets auto-linked to the Zeta app as soon as your card is activated.
Here are the steps to link your Sodexo Meal Card with the Zeta app:
a) Download the Zeta app from Playstore / iOS ​https://www.zeta.in/app/
b) Enter the registered Email id / mobile number used for activation
c) Enter the OTP received
d) Create password
e) Enter your app PIN
f) Registration successful, your Sodexo Meal Card will be auto-linked
You will see 2 cards on your Zeta app – Meal Card and Multi benefit Card. You will find your non-meal benefit
accounts right beneath the Multi benefit Card on the app (as shown below). You can ignore the Multi-benefit card if
your company has not opted for non-meal benefits.

Q. What are the benefits of using the Zeta mobile app?


A. Downloading the Zeta app on your smartphone has the following benefits:
● Scan & Pay​ - Just scan the QR code at the merchant outlet and punch the amount
● SuperPIN ​– No need to remember your card PIN. Generate a Dynamic PIN, valid for 2 minutes.
● Integrated food apps​ - Buy food directly via the integrated food ordering apps like Freshmenu and Swiggy
● Merchant outlets​ - Access the Sodexo Merchant Directory on the app to find outlets around you
● Exclusive offers and discounts​ - Avail Sodexo - exclusive offers and discounts
● Block and unblock card​ - Cards can be blocked or unblocked for added security
● Track spends​ - Real-time in-app notifications on spends and receipts
● View transaction history​ - Access detailed transaction history on-the-go

Q. Is my card secured by a transaction PIN?


A.​ ​Yes, the Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass is a PIN-based card. You will receive your static PIN as part of the card
welcome kit. You can also use the SuperPIN on your own using the Zeta app. This SuperPIN is dynamic and is valid
for 2 minutes.

Q. Do I need to memorise the static PIN?


A. You will need to memorise your PIN if you have not downloaded the Zeta app. If you have downloaded the Zeta
app, you can simply use the SuperPIN feature. You can also change your static PIN using the Zeta app
Q. Will I receive SMS alerts for my purchase and load transactions?
A. Yes, you will receive SMS alerts from Sodexo for all credit & debit transactions

Q. What are the charges for the Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass?


A. There are no charges applicable on purchase transactions with the Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass

Q. Can I use my Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass for online purchases?


A. Yes. ​The Meal card can be used on portals of Sodexo affiliated meal merchants. ​Currently, this has been enabled
at selected popular online food merchants​ like Swiggy, Zomato, Freshmenu etc. Please use the card details printed
on the ‘Meal’ section of the card to make payments.
The Multi-Benefit Pass can be used on portals accepting RuPay, ​if your company has opted for other benefits​.
Please use the card details printed on the ‘Multi-Benefit’ section of the card.

Q. Where can I get a list of meal outlets that accept the Sodexo Meal Card?
A. There are two ways to find Sodexo-affiliated meal outlets around you:
a) Download Zeta mobile app and click on the ‘Merchant List’ option to view the list of Sodexo Merchant outlets
b) Find the Sodexo Merchant Web directory on ​http://sodexo.live/directory

Q. Can I add an outlet of my choice to Sodexo’s meal network?


A.​ ​Yes. You can suggest an outlet of your choice to be added on to the Sodexo network. Kindly ​share the details of
your favorite outlets at ​http://sodexo.live/suggest-us ​and Sodexo will try to affiliate outlet of your choice in the
network.

Q. Can I withdraw cash using my Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass?


A. No, you will not be able to withdraw cash using Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass

Q. What is KYC registration?


A. Know your customer ('KYC') is the process of a business (Sodexo) identifying and verifying its consumers
(Sodexo Card Users). KYC guidelines are issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). As per the RBI Master
Direction, it is mandatory for all prepaid instrument issuers to complete their KYC. Currently Sodexo captures KYC
information at the time of card activation itself

Q. Are there any limits to the amount that can be loaded on the Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass?
A. ​RBI guidelines specify capturing and validating consumer information for certain value issued on prepaid cards.
At the time of activating the card Sodexo obtains KYC details - minimum details (mandatory) and complete KYC
(optional) of the consumer
If user provided minimum details the following rules apply:
a) Balance on Card (at any point) should be ≤ Rs. 10,000*
b) Cumulative credits per month should be ≤ Rs. 10,000*
c) Cumulative of debits per month ≤ Rs. 10,000*
d) Cumulative load per FY ≤ Rs. 1,00,000*
Within 12 months from the date of card issuance, the user will need to complete KYC, if not, no further credit
allowed on the card
Once the user completes KYC the card can be loaded with a value of up to Rs. 1,00,000*
*Note: ​These limits are ​prescribed by RBI​ and are subject to changes as and when mandated by RBI

Q. How do I change the card PIN?


A.​ ​You can change the card PIN via the Zeta app available on your smartphone or ​desktop​.

Q. What do I do if I forget the card PIN?


A. You can generate a new card PIN using the Zeta app on your smartphone or ​desktop​ or by simply using the
dynamic SuperPIN to make transactions

Q. How do I check the balance on my Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass?


A. Every time you make a purchase, you will receive an email/SMS notification stating the updated card balance.
You can also view card balance on the Zeta app on your smartphone or ​desktop

Q. What should I do if my Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass is lost or stolen?


A.​ ​On loss of the card, you can easily block your card using the Zeta app in just a click.
Open your Zeta app, go to ‘Settings’, click on your ‘Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass’ and turn on the ‘Block temporarily’
button to prevent transactions on your card. You can also reach out to Sodexo’s Customer Service team on 1800
267 3030 / 1800 103 3030. The lost card will be blocked, and the available amount would be issued to the
cardholder in a replacement card only after the cardholder requests for a replacement card. You can raise a request
for the replacement card by logging in on ​desktop​ interface

Q. Will I be charged for the replacement card?


A.​ ​Yes, you will be charged a card replacement fee as mentioned in your welcome letter

Q. Is there any other fee on the Sodexo Multi-benefit Pass?


There are 2 kinds of fees:
A.​ ​An insufficient fund fee ​as mentioned in your welcome letter​ will be charged for every transaction that is declined
due to insufficient balance on card
B. An inactive​ ​card fee ​as mentioned in your welcome letter​ will be charged if there is no credit/debit transaction on
the card for 90 days

Q. What are the other advantages of using this card for non-meal benefits?
The Sodexo Multi-Benefit pass Is a 100% digital employee benefits solution. Cardholders can enjoy the following
benefits:
• Saves taxes on up to Rs 50,000 per year
• 100% Paperless reimbursement claims! Simply upload a picture of the bill through your app to raise a
reimbursement claim. No more tedious tasks of collating and submitting paper bills
• One card for all your benefits. No need to carry different cards for different benefits
• Mobile app to manage benefits & claims on-the-go

Q. How do I make a reimbursement claim?


A. You can make a reimbursement claim through the Zeta app by following these simple steps:
● Swipe horizontally on the Zeta app home screen to find the Multi-Benefit card
● Find your benefit accounts located at the bottom of the screen
● Swipe up to find the required benefit account and click on it
● Click ‘Upload Bills’ from the menu and upload required bills along with the necessary details
● Once your claim is approved by your employer, money will be loaded into your ‘Reimbursement account’
All the benefit accounts and the reimbursement account will be visible on your Zeta app right beneath the Multi
benefit card. Swipe up to browse through your benefit accounts and reimbursement account.

Q. Can I start uploading bills as and when I spend?


A. Yes, you can start uploading the bills as and when you spend. Alternatively, you can upload all the bills together
at the end of the month, as per the deadline set by your company’s HR team

Q. What happens when a bill/claim is rejected?


A. You will receive a notification on the Zeta app

Q. Why does my non-meal benefit accounts always show zero balance on the Zeta app?
A. If your company has opted for non- meal benefits, you can pay via cash or personal debit/credit card and upload
bills via the Zeta app to raise a reimbursement claim.
All claims are evaluated and approved by a back-end team of experts. All approved claims for a period are then
accessed by your employer to arrive at your reimbursement amount for the period. This consolidated amount is
loaded into your ‘reimbursement account’. This will happen at the end of the reimbursement cycle as defined by
your employer.
Since the money will always be loaded into your ‘reimbursement account’ and not the ‘benefit account’, your benefit
account balance will always be zero.

Q. What happens to the unused balance at the end of a month?


A. The unused balance will be carried forward to the next month for all benefits. You can view the spends history on
the Zeta App or on web portal for each of benefit
