Competency: Identify triangles, quadrilateral, and circle
Duration: 1 day
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, student is expect to be sable to:
1. Develop deeper understanding of shape specially triangle, quadrilateral, circle
2. Identify objects around class that similar with triangle, quadrilateral, or circle
3. Review names of the names of plane ,shapes

Grouping Instruction:
Student will do the activities prepared in the worksheet.
•Worksheet 1 student work in group of 4
•Worksheet 2 student do individually
•Worksheet 3 students work in pair Students play with virtual manipulative on
the group of 4Students play with domino card on the group of 4
Overview of Lesson:
Students learn to know about basic planes shapes: triangle, quadrilateral, and
circle. They will identify which one is triangle, quadrilateral, or circle. Students will
construct their own knowledge about triangle, quadrilateral, and circle by doing
activity. At the end of lesson student make picture of form from one or more plane
shapes to improve their creativity.

5’ Name of shape We see these different shapes
everyday, and it is very
important for us to recognize
these shapes. We will be
counting the sides and corners
of each shape. By doing this,
we will be able to identify the
shape name
Ask the students if they know
any names of shapes.
Today we will be learning
about 3basic shapes- circles,
triangles, and quadrilateral.
