SUMMARY:
Ingredients in PCPs (personal care products) can be generally classified into seven categories, namely,
preservatives, antimicrobials, fragrance, colorants, pH balance, lather and antiperspirant. These general
categorizations are based on the main use or function of the ingredients.
Product labels contain the information, such as a) quantity in the container b) identity statement c)
name of the manufacturer and distributor d) warning and cautionstatement e) date of manufacture f)
expiration date, and ingredients.
Endocrine disruptors are chemicals that may alter the function of the endoctrine system UCH a ovaries,
testes, and thyroid gland)
Carcinogens are substances that have the potential to cause cancer in living organisms.

2. Stop using product that irritates your face or body
3. Make sure that your hands are clean before putting on some make up or skin care
4. Make sure to clean your make up brushes
5. Check the label
6. Check its expiration date
7. Use a legit product
8. Make sure that the products you are going to use suits your skin type
9. Check its smell, if you think that there’s something wrong with it then throw it right away
10. Make sure to clean your face and avoid touching it often.
