Introduction

Assessment of student learning II show different types of

assessment that a teacher can use to assess his/her student. Through

this book we determined how to use authentic assessment properly and

effectively it also shows the different effective strategies and

techniques activity. ASL II shows the important of Portfolio to

monitor the progress of student. This book also discussed the

importance and properly evaluating the performance of a student in

terms of giving grades also the relationship of a teacher to the

parents.

Educational Technology shows the advancement of learning and

teaching through the use of technology in education. On this book

tackled how technologies effectively improve the skills, mind and

also attitude of a student and how it is differ from the traditional

teaching style. This book also elaborate how technologies become a

bane to the user despite that it helps us in different situation.

From this (2) two book, it teach us to become concern in our

surrounding from ASL II I learned to monitor my progress and

different techniques on learning and teaching someday. I am

responsible know in terms of my grades and I learned how to grade a

person properly the etiquettes in terms of grading. From Educational

Technology I learned to use the technology properly and effectively

than before, its benefits in terms of my study and teaching practices

soon.

The Teaching Profession

Teaching is not easy profession you must need to master you

lesson before facing your class for them to answer all their

questions. As a teacher you must need to become creative and

energetic on your class to enjoy the lesson. You must need o select

different kind of teaching strategies and techniques to entertain you

class and not become dry your discussion. Role of teacher is not

ended for students, parents or guardians, schools official and

sometimes even you colleagues you must need to become good and better

for them.

As a dreamer to become an educator in the future I will study

all of the etiquettes of a teacher and practice them to master it. I

also want to inspire the other students to study harder and to be

their inspirations as a successful person someday I want to share and

continuously learned all the things surrounded on me.

Learning is a continuous process, but leaning and teaching is

the best combination of a continuous process. I inspired by my

teacher and I will inspired my learner for them to inspired the

future. Inspire us and let inspire everyone through learning.

My Educational Philosophy

Teaching and learning is not an easy process, you need to exert

your time, effort, passion and also money. This kind of experience is

so wonderful and very exciting at all from learning that will also

each you in some point.

As a dreamer educator I’m going to strive more because this is

not my only dream it’s also my parents dream for me. Problems,

struggles, hardship are some challenge for a learner and future

teacher from me so I’ll shoulder all of it no matter how it is

complicated.

I also believe that as long that you love what you are doing,

there’s no struggles and situation that can stop you. So let’s love

our passion, our dreams and let it surrender and offer it to our

Almighty God and He will succeed us.

The Teacher: A Person of Good Moral Character

Being teacher means to have a high standard of knowledge and

character. Teachers are responsible to mold the character and

knowledge of their students. Teachers must be knowledgeable enough on

what they are teaching and has ability in sharing that knowledge.

They must be flexible in adopting and performing teaching strategies

and teaching methods because we all know that classroom is divergent

in learners. The teacher must need to become creative he/she must

teach into fun way, very interesting and challenging discussion.

A teacher must also need to become a good listener to the

student’s progress and problems and become a good and effective

guidance councilor. They must also become patients to their

hardheaded students. They must need to become a role model,

inspiration and good example for their students.

When we heard the profession of being a teacher we think that we

must need to reach the high expectation on us that we need to meet

because our role is to mold our students and become their role model.

That’s why they said that teaching must need to your passion because

when you did not love what you are doing you cannot become a person

with good moral character.

Taking a quiz without knowing it because I am late for our first

subject (ASL II) but with the help of my seat mate friend’s note I

learned to study her lecture by my own and asking some questions with

her if I really can’t understand and thank God my quiz result is

absolutely not bad.

 I consider that groupings is strength because there are more than

two heads will work together to make a better output but groupings is

also a weakness (sometimes) if your members are not cooperating on

the task that your group need to accomplish.

 Before exam I practice to read my notes and highlighted my key

words on a certain topics after that I will wrote it on a piece of

paper to serve as my reviewer. It also helps me if I read it before I

sleep and when I woke up in early morning. I’m not good in memorizing

but I clearly remember it during exams.

This time I miss one quiz, the reason behind is that I am late

again and again. Our teacher gave us a special task to comply our

missing quiz. For me it is too hard and rush, that time I decided to

skip this task but it though me a lesson, that even a task is very

complicated as long as you believe in yourself and have faith on Him

you can do it. Just be brave, don’t give up and make a try.

Being prepared is one of my strength this time because I made a

certain task rapidly but even I made it in a short period of time I

think I am lazy in terms of the deadline because even I already

finished the task I becoming a late passer of the needed output.

The thing that I learned this time is that, I don’t want to miss

before. We must need be taught in our mistakes don’t make it a

Doing your best and exerting enough effort is better but fighting

with your fear is your big enemy, yes have equal opportunities in

performing in front but not all of us can perform it properly in

front of others because of fear, nervous, shy and other factors, but

we can enhance it through practice until we mastered it.

Insights

Learning is a continuous process. There is a time in our

life that we will be get tired for everything, a time that you

have been decided to stop. Teacher is not easy profession, but

as a dreamer to be in the field of teaching I believe that I

can do everything because I have a goal and I’m not alone on

this path cause I know and I believe that if you surrender it

all to our Heavenly Father nothing is impossible.

Recommendations

In studying you must need to set your goals in life, a

goal that will motivate you in times that you are down.

Struggles are normal in life but if you really knew your

goals in life the word give up is not reason to surrender

you dream and your future.

 Things Learned

Appreciations and experiences are the best teacher in

our journey in life. Sometimes we must need to experience

he things before we learn and after we experience it we

will appreciate the importance of everything. Cheating,

being late, being irresponsible on a certain task, somehow

we make it, a reason why we got low grades, our teacher

getting mad on us, but as long as you learn a lesson from

those situation it will give you a reason to become more

punctual, be responsible, being better student, and a

stepping stone to become successful. Those scenarios are

normal for a student but don’t let it to become a habit.
