Summary
The De La Salle University - Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologies (DLSU-IBEHT) serves as the
focal unit for R&D, training, and knowledge transfer in the biomedical applications and health technologies. IBEHT’s main
goal is to pave a way in accelerating the development of biomedical devices and technologies by providing state-of-the-
art facilities and services to universities and research institutions, enabling them to transform their ideas into market-
ready products.

As part of IBEHT’s Webinar Series, this lecture on hospital supply chain would help us understand how do private hospital
decide and procure the equipment that deploy on their hospitals. We will get to see as well the decision making process
and procurement framework. This would also help biomedical engineering researchers strategize on how they can
commercialize and bring to the hospital their innovations.

Speaker’s Bio
Ms. Delos Reyes is currently the Purchasing and Logistics Manager at GDV Industrial Supplies since 2019.

Before that, She was the Corporate Procurement Assistant Director at Qualimed Health Network from 2011-2018. While
there, she was in charge of bids handling under the Hospital System QualiMed. She did major ticket items but also helped
to train the hospital purchasing and clinic purchasing staff.

She held as well different Managerial positions on Logistics and Purchasing from different companies such as Holcim
Philippines, Langhoff Promotions Inc. and Riviera Philippines Inc.
