NARRATIVE REPORT
Teaching has always been regarded as the noblest profession. Teachers are considered the
brains behind the people who became experts or achieved a great deal. Teachers are the heart of
a single soul, the pillars to those who do not have guts, and the voices that keep on saying, “Go
on, you can do it”. All across the world, Teacher's Day celebrations are undertaken to honor
teachers for their sincere efforts to impart knowledge to their students. By having celebrations on
Teacher's Day, we convey the message that we care for our teachers, just as they do. Celebrating
the festival is the recognition of the devotion, with which, teachers undertake the responsibility
of educating a child academically as well as morally.

On October 5, 2016 Sto.Rosario Elementary School celebrated “World Teachers Day” in


pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 242 as well as Republic Act 10743. We held a short
program courtesy of our SPG officers, starting with the singing of the National Anthem followed
by giving of opening remarks by our dear school head, __________

Pupils of each grade level gave their surprise presentation for the teachers by dancing and
giving of simple gift to the teachers. A pupil from Grade 6 recite the National Teacher’s Prayer
and she also gave her message to the teachers. The program was ended by the closing remarks
of our HRPTA President, Mr. -------- and taking selfies of teachers with their pupils.

After the program, all teachers went to the principal’s office and continue the celebration,
our school head prepared snacks and lunch for us. Our celebration does not end there, at around
2 pm we went to the Science of Altered Perception where we enjoyed ourselves taking photos
with 3D images. We also went to Sky Ranch and enjoyed some of the rides after the tiring
activities, our school head treat us over a dinner at Partyland Restaurant. The celebration was
very enjoyable and successful.

Truly…teachers are so simple. We became happy even on small things. Indeed, let us all
be PROUD of being a teacher! The dawn of the new day will be seen because of us.
