The Rubrik sizzle demo is a condensed version of a full demo that shows the impactful
product features where we focus on individual file recovery and a Live mount or Instant
Recovery. This demo should be less than five minutes in duration.

Dashboard
• HTML5 based, no Flash or Java
• Discuss that we consume our own APIs
• Highlight how this extends to vRA/ServiceNow (SNOW) and as a bonus, show
SNOW tab in your chrome browser with Rubrik Service options pulled up
• Click on vSphere VMs drop down menu on the dashboard page to show the
range of snappable we support protecting and the transition to SLA domains

SLA Domains
• Create a new policy
• Highlight that we are a declarative tool where you "tell" Rubrik what your backup,
replication, and archive goals are and allow us to manage protection
automatically without manual human tasks or errors.
• We also provide “adaptive throttling” to reduce the impact of data protection
without manual steps required
o Speak to our First full, forever incremental approach
o Discuss how SLA domains can be applied to any “snappable” the
customer would like to protect and can be done in a broad or granular way
based on the customer’s needs. (e.g. can apply a policy at vcenter level,
but also apply a different policy on a specific VM)

Restore
• Use the global search at top of navigation to find your VM for demo
• A brief overview of the Tabs for restore and calendar
• Show file search and restore/download option
o Show VM options
o Discuss Cloud and mount options and speak briefly on cloud convert
capabilities
o Perform “Mount” for VM and open vSphere HTML5 client
§ Show VM is running on the brik storage
§ Show network is disconnected
§ Speak to business use-cases for Mount and Instant Recovery

Reports
• Show pre-built reports
• Select a report and show how a scheduled delivery of the report is configured
• Show custom reports section and a brief peek at creating a report
• Segway into Polaris overview for GPS and show reporting

CloudOn, SNOW, or SQL Live Mount to the demo where applicable, but typically you
will briefly discuss this to help set up the next meeting.
