Symmetrical Fault Assignment

The document contains two power system analysis questions: 1) A three-phase fault occurs at Bus 1 of a four-bus power system. The question asks to determine the subtransient fault current, short circuit MVA, and line currents during the fault. 2) A four-bus power system is represented by its Z-bus matrix. The question asks to calculate fault current, bus voltages, and the contribution of adjacent buses when a three-phase fault occurs at Bus 4, both for a solid fault and through a fault impedance.
