Aim: To allow students to share their information creatively.
Instructions:
1. Watch the topic that appears in the slide.
2. Think about one word related to that topic.
3. Wait until the teacher calls your name to say the word.

GUESS WHO
Level: 1st of BGU
Aim: To ask questions to practice the simple past and yes/no short answers.
Instructions:
1.One person in the class thinks of something (or someone) in the past, and the rest of
the group has to ask yes/no questions to guess it.
2. The person answering the questions responds with “yes, she/he/it did” or “no,
she/he/it did not.”

WARM-UP 1
GUESS FAST
Level: 1st of BGU
Aim: To bring energy and visual attention to the activity.
Instruction:
1. All students have 5 minutes to try to find the 5 differences
2. The teacher asks for the person who has found more differences
3.The student tells the differences

VERBS CHAIN
Level: 1st of BGU
Aim: To make students remember the topic of previous lessons
Instructions:
1. Watch the irregular verb in the slide, which is in its infinitive form.
2. The teacher would ask a student to say the simple past form of that verb.
3. The student who said the simple past form of the verb has to call one of her/his
classmate’s name to speaks the past participle form.
4. Once the students finish, they can see the two forms of that verb in the slide.

LEAD - IN ACTIVITY 1
TELL ME ABOUT IT
Topic: Likes and dislikes
Level: 1st of BGU
Aim: To activate a previous vocabulary.
Instructions:
1. Each student has 3 minutes to think as many words as possible related to the topic
assigned.
2. Randomly, the teacher chooses a person who says words of liking or disliking related
to topic in less than a minute.

SPELLING RACE
Topic: Simple Past
Level: 1st of BGU
Aim: To introduce vocabulary about the simple past.
Instructions:
1. Divide the students into two groups.
2. The teacher spells a word that refers to the past (e.g., vacation, Chirstmas ) such
as verbs in the past or time expressions.
3. The first person that writes the word correctly on the chat in 15 seconds wins
points for his/her group.
