Hon. Felipe Antonio B.
Remollo
IATF Chairperson
City Mayor
Dear Mayor Remollo,
Greetings of peace and good health! I am writing this letter to humbly request that you allow me and my
partner Johanna Isabella L. Villarin to continue our quarantine at home.
The main reason for this request is that, I am currently enrolled in law school and though classes are
online, the internet connection here in our place of quarantine is unstable and cannot sustain online
classes.
Before anything else, we commend your efforts in the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 virus in the
City of Dumaguete. We are impressed that Dumaguete remains to be one of the places that are still
implementing quarantine measures vigorously. We expected no less from you as the IATF chairperson.
In this light, we would like to continue our mandatory quarantine at home. We have an empty
apartment in Brgy. Bantayan. It is a two-story apartment with 3 rooms and 2 comfort rooms and there
will be no other person to stay in such place but us.
We strongly prefer to stay in that apartment since aside from the reliable Wi-Fi connection, it is fully
furnished and the place itself used to be a place for family gatherings prior to this pandemic and such
familiar environment will greatly sustain our mental health as well.
Lastly, there has been no one staying in that apartment for almost a month now. Therefore, comparing
our apartment to the quarantine areas provided by the City government, it would be the most less risky
place to acquire the Covid-19 virus unlike these hotel rooms and facilities where LSI’s are staying in a
regular basis.
With these, we humbly ask for your approval on this matter, and that we be allowed to continue our
Mandatory 14-day quarantine at home. Attached in this email are our approved Travel Requirements
upon entry in the City which also contains our Negative Covid-19 swab result administered at Vicente
Sotto Hospital in Cebu City.
Yours Sincerely,
Prince Albert C Villa
