2 Cor5:17

Recap:

Being born again is not an upgrade.

I have the life of God. I am a new creature; nothing like another creature. God decided to give birth and
gave birth to me. I am a son of God. I have the same life as God.

I have a permanent residence in Christ.

Today:

A Christian does not need deliverance.

I am in Christ and then in God. I live, move and exist in God. Nothing can possess God

Col 1:12, the new creature was born free. We have not be delivered. There is no deliverence for the new
creature.

God has forgiven every sin, those who believe receive forgiveness.

DEMONIC POSSESSION

Matt 8:28, Mark 5:1-9

A person who is born again has his spirit living and henceforth cannot be possessed.

A person who is not born again has his spirit dead. His spirit can be possessed. And even other spirits can
inhabit his body.

Most madness cases are demonic. God doesn't want any man demon possessed. He wants every man to
be saved.

DEMONIC OPPRESSION

Luke 6:17-18, those that were troubled with unclean spirits were cured.

Jn 14:30, what if the devil has something in you? When the devil finds something in you, he can afflict
their bodies. When they find sin, or fleshly mindedness, they can disrupt things in your life. Be careful,
walk after righteousness in the Spirit.

Heb 12:1, Romans 8:2,

When the devil recognises that one has a weakness, he brings something that will easily make you fall.
Movies, Ladies, he brings things that will stirr the flesh and sin.

And never leave an opening, don't lose your guard.


Anything bad happens by evil spirits, in Christians it's catalysed by ignorance.

You can choose not to

DEMONIC INFLUENCE

1 Jn 4:1, believe not every spirit

The demon can speak even after prayer. It is by trying things with the Word of God. Know that some
ideas don't come with God. Is this what God is saying. Many mistakes come from such influences.

Imagine, Jesus' closest was also influenced.

Matthew 4:1-

Jesus defended His position with the Word of God. God wants us to fast. I am not just hungry, I am
fasting. The devil should not suggest anything to me.

When you are not careful, you let the devil oppress you, you let the devil influence you.

The spirits are from way back. Jesus said they savour the things of men. They are in very high wicked
places- spirits that rule over the land.

Eph 1:20-21, Eph 2:6

No evil spirit can invade heaven. I have a permanent residence in Christ.

If spirits can oppress and influence Christians; what is our Lord Jesus Christ saying about that:

James 4:7

I have to control my body, resist the devil.

WHAT MUST I DO?

-Grow in knowledge, John 8:32, you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Jesus Christ
has already set me free, the truth will then make me free.

On Earth!

Psalms 119:130, the entrance of thy Word brings light and gives understanding to the simple.

a demon, a product of the devil cannot come up from where he is to have power over me.

1 John 4:4, greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

Jn 16:23-24, Ask and ye shall receive that your joy may be full. This is not dekomai, it is lambano. Take it
by faith. Rom 5:17, we have received abundance of grace, we took the what God gave us by faith. Grab a
hold and take advantage of what you have received.

Acts 1:8, they will lambano power. 1 Tim 6:12. Appropriating the blessing. Take hold of eternal life. Take
it immensely for yourself.

Reigning in life is not for those who are entertained by the Word of God. Furious with the things of God.
