NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS

Eugenio G. Sy Tamco Elementary School committed its service to school, pupils and the
community, created a project that strengthen pupils knowledge in reading and in problem solving. It
identifies some techniques and methods that every pupils must learn to be good in reading by mean of
creating and making their own paragraph. Through Project CONTEX (Contextualization of Narrative
Stories through Textual Experience), the pupils will learn the localized literature of San Isidro. It also
involves some activities. Other project of Mr. Jun R. Acuña is PROJECT MATH-ALAS – Develop
pupils’ performance in solving word problems. Organize activities that encourage pupils to master
mathematical skills.
Last July 23, 2018 Eugenio G. Sy Tamco Elementary School conducted Learning Action
Cell (LAC) on how these projects to be implemented. The session started at 2:30 in the
afternoon. It was participated by the School Head Jun R. Acuna and all the teachers from
Kinder to Grade 6. Topics about contualization was discussed and the methods of solving word problems by
Mrs. Fe N. Valiente. Master Teacher I.
It was indeed a meaningful and fruitful discussion ended at 5 o’clock PM.

1. This is to announce that a SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL for this month
will be held on Friday, January 23, 2019 at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
2. This was in line with DepEd Order No. 55 S. 2007 Implementation of Program
and Projects.
3. Its objectives are:
a. To equip teachers with the techniques and methods in contextualization of
the local literature.
b. To equip teachers with the techniques and methods in teaching word
problems in Mathematics
4. Participants are ALL Teachers and the School Head.
5. Enclosure No. 1 contain the matrix, resource speakers and work committee.
6. Full cooperation of all concerned is highly appreciated.
