CA15 ACTIVITY 3 (Not Yet Written)

Teachers have the right to teach without fear according to the Philippine Constitution, but some teachers are risking their safety to teach students. Many teachers join anti-government rallies because previous administrations did not fulfill promises to improve teachers' lives and incomes. It is a teacher's duty to advocate for students' right to education, but teachers should not be encouraged to advocate for political causes, as everyone has the right to choose their own beliefs.

ACTIVITY 3

1. Examine the Bill of Rights in Article III of the 1987 Philippine Constitution. Do you think
all teachers are enjoying their rights as citizens?
Being a teacher is not too triumph profession inevitably you will encounter many
problems and wealth of difficulties as a teacher we have the right to teach or deliver
knowledge to our students without fear and apprehension for our own safety. But based on
what I have observed in the situation of our teachers today it seems that some of our teachers
are already risking their own safety and lives just to fulfill their sworn duty and impart the
knowledge to their students so that no one should be left ignorant in our repository

2. What is your opinion about teachers joining anti-government rallies?

Many of the teachers are forced to engage in such kinds of matters. Many of the
previous administrations made many promises to teachers to ease their lives as a teacher but
many did not fulfill and remained just a promises. We can't blame our teachers because they
also hope to have a better future for them in their chosen profession and have a better life for
their families. And maybe the other reason is that Sometimes the government didn't care
about them because the government is looking forward to some projects that is not looks like
going to happen they only make promises. Like they will going to give the teachers a higher
income but again it remained just a promise.

3. How do we encourage teachers to become human rights advocates in their communities?

Everyone has the right to learn and to have a formal education. And as a teacher it is
our duty to be a bridge to advocate the right to give privileges to have a formal educational.
For all but for me why should I encourage them to indoctrinate in one political direction it is
clearly stated in our law that everyone has the right to choose freely whatever they wanted to
poses to so I will not encourage or force them to be a human rights advocate because it’s up
to them whether they want to join to this kind of political thing or not
