In test program it is very easy to locate the broken parts and the time to adjust it becomes
lesser.
To enter in test program, the machine has to be turned “OFF” or in “Energy Saving” mode, and
with the hot water, steam knob closed.

For entering in test program push the following key’s.

• When machine is “OFF”

Push at the same time and hold key’s 4 and 6, turn “ON” the
machine by the main switch.
Let go of the keys. Now the machine is in test program.
• When machine is in “Energy saving” mode.
Push at the same time and hold key’s 4 and 6, then push the
key nr. 7.
Let go of the keys. Now the machine is in test program.

Rotation counterclockwise of the gear motor Key 1

Check the right rotation counterclockwise of the gear motor by

checking also the end position.

When the gear motor is in work position, the key # 1 will
light up. Check also that the gear motor isn’t noisy.

Rotation clockwise of the gear motor Key 2

Check the right rotation clockwise of the gear motor by

checking also the end position.
When the gear motor is in home position, the key # 2 will
light up. Check also that the gear motor isn’t noisy.

Function of the coffee grinder Key 3

Check the right function of the coffee grinder and that it is

rotating clockwise. Check the noise of the coffee grinder.
When the doser is full, the coffee grinder stops, and the key #
3 will light up. (?)

Opening of the doser Key 5

Check the right opening of the doser. Check that the doser
isn’t noisy.

Function of the pump Key 4

Open the steam knob, press key 4. Check the right function
. of the pump. Confirm the noise of the pump, check that the
impulses of the flow meter are displayed on warm up LED
Warm up LED
Close the steam knob. Press and hold key 4, thus pressurizing
the water line. Look carefully inside the machine to make
sure that there are no leaks and that the impulses from flow
meter stop.

Function of the LED’s Key 6

With the steam knob closed, press key 6 (Steam button).

Check that the all LED’s light up.

Function of the LED’s Key 6

With the steam knob open, press key 6. Check that all the
vertical LED’s light up.

Check all Micro switches

Remove the brew group. Check that the brew group LED
goes OFF. Activate (Trigger) the brew group micro switch.
Check that the brew group LED goes ON.
Note: The brew group micro switch can be also activated
by placing the brew group back into machine.

Remove the dump box. Check that the LED with dump box
Icon goes OFF. Place the dump box back into machine.
Check that the dump box LED goes ON.

Remove the water tank. Check that the LED with the water
drop mark goes OFF. Place the water tank back onto
machine. Check that the water drop mark LED goes ON.

Turn the steam knob halfway ON. Check that the steam valve
micro switch has been triggered and that the LED with the
discaling mark goes ON. Turn the steam knob OFF. Check
that the LED goes OFF.

To leave the test mode control turn the machine OFF and ON again.

In Test mode control it is very easy to locate the broken parts and the time to adjust it, becomes lesser.
To enter in test mode control, machine has to be turned “OFF” or in “Energy Saving” mode and with hot
water / steam knob closed.

For Entering in the Test Mode Control, press the following key’s

• When machine is “OFF”

Press at the same time and hold key’s # 4 and # 6.
Turn “ON” the machine by the main switch.
Let go off the keys. Now the machine is in test mode control.

• When machine is in “Energy saving” mode

Press at the same time and hold key’s # 4 and # 6.
Then press key # 7.
Let go off the keys. Now the machine is in test mode control.

Rotation Counterclockwise of the Gear motor Key 1

Check the right rotation counterclockwise of the gear motor by

checking also the end position. When the gear motor is in work
position, the Large coffee cup icon will light up. Check also that the
gear motor isn’t noisy.

Rotation Clockwise of the Gear motor Key 5

Check the right rotation clockwise of the gear motor by checking

also the end position. When the gear motor is in home position, the
Small coffee cup icon will light up. Check also that the gear motor
isn’t noisy.

Function of the Coffee Grinder Key 3

Check the right function of the coffee grinder and that it is

rotating clockwise. Check the noise of the coffee grinder motor.
When the doser is full, the coffee grinder stops and coffee bean LED
lights up.

Function of the Doser Coil Solenoid Key 2

Check the right function of the doser coil solenoid. Check that
the doser isn’t noisy.

Function of the Pump Key 4

Open steam knob, press and hold key # 4. Check the right
function of the pump. Confirm that the noise of the pump is normal.
Check that the impulses of the flow meter are displayed on Warm up
LED.
Close the steam knob. Press and hold key # 4, thus pressurizing
the water line. Look carefully inside the machine to make sure that
there are no leaks and that the impulses from flow meter stop.

Function of the Boiler Heating Coil Keys 6 + 2

Press and hold on same time keys # 6 and #2 to activate boiler

heating coil.

Function of the LED’s Key 6

With steam knob closed press and hold key # 6, (Steam button).
Check that all warning LED’s light up.

Check all Micro switches

• Remove the brew group. Check that the brew group warning
light (LED) goes OFF. Activate (Trigger) brew group micro switch.
Check that the brew group micro switch warning light (LED) goes
ON.
Note: The brew group micro switch can be also activated by
placing brew group back into machine.

• Remove dump box. Check that the warning light with dump
box icon goes OFF. Place dump box back into machine. Check that
the warning light of the dump box goes ON.

• Remove water tank. Check that the warning light with water
drop icon goes OFF. Place water tank back onto machine. Check that
the warning light of the water tank goes ON.
Note: To have this test function properly, water tank must be
filled with water.

• Turn the steam knob halfway ON. Check that the steam valve
micro switch has been triggered and that the warning light with
descaling marc (Icon) goes ON. Turn steam knob OFF. Check that
the warning light with descaling marc goes OFF.

To leave test mode control turn machine OFF and ON again.

Press at the same time and hold key’s # 2 and # 3.
Turn “ON” the machine by the main switch.
Let go off the keys. Now the machine is in test mode
control.

• When machine is in “Energy saving” mode

Press at the same time and hold key’s # 2 and # 3.
Then press key # 6.
Let go off the keys. Now the machine is in test mode
control.

Check the right function of the pump. Confirm that the noise of the
pump is normal.
Close the steam knob. Press and hold key # 6 & # 1, thus
pressurizing the water line. Look carefully inside the machine to
make sure that there are no leaks.

Function of the Pump and both Electro valves Keys 6 & 2 or 6 & 4

Press and hold on same time keys # 6 & # 2 or keys #6 & # 4.

Check the right function of the pump and both electro valves. Check
that the impulses of the flow meter are displayed on right bottom of
display.

Function of the Pump and steam Electro valve Keys 6 & 3

Press and hold on same time keys # 6 & # 3. Check the right
function of the pump and steam electro valve.

Function of the Steam Electro valve Keys 6 + 5 + 2 or 6 + 5 + 3

Press and hold on same time keys # 6 + # 5 + # 2, or keys # 6 + #

5 + # 3. Check the right function of steam electro valve a click will
be heard. Number 23 will appear on display.

Function of the Water Electro valve Keys 6 + 5 + 1

Press and hold on same time keys # 6 + # 5 + # 1. Check the

right function of water electro valve a click will be heard.

Number 1 will appear on display.

Function of the Boilers Temperature Keys 6 + 5 + 4

Press and hold keys #6 + # 5 + # 4. On display will show

Temperature 1 on top and Temperature 2 on bottom. Temperature 1
shows brew boiler temperature value. Temperature 2 shows steam
boiler temperature value.

Absorbing big resistance coffee Boiler Keys 5 & 2

Press and hold keys # 5 + # 2. Check that the big resistance of

coffee boiler is absorbing. We can see it by checking boilers
temperature. In this case Temperature 1 must be increased.

Absorbing resistance Steam Boiler Keys 5 & 4

Press and hold keys # 5 + # 4. Check that the resistance of steam

boiler is absorbing. We can see it by checking boilers temperature. In
this case Temperature 2 must be increased.

Function of all Micro switches

• Turn steam knob ON. Check that the micro switch engages
when steam knob is turned half way round and that on
display appears number 4.
• Lift up water tank. Number 7 will disappear on display. It
will show up when water tank is placed back. Water sensor is
reading.
• Pull dump box (Dreg drawer) out. Number 5 will disappear
on display. Place dump box back into machine, number 5
will show up on display.
• Bypass door power switch and remove brew group unit.
Number 6 will disappear on display. Place brew group unit
back. Number 6 will show up on display.

To exit Test Mode Control turn machine OFF and turn it ON again.

For Entering in the Test Mode Control, press the following key’s

• When machine is “OFF”

Press at the same time and hold key’s # 4, # 5 and # 1.
Turn “ON” the machine by the main switch.
Let go off the keys. Now the machine is in test mode
control.

• When machine is in “Energy saving” mode

Press at the same time and hold key’s # 4, # 5 and then
press key # 1 for two seconds.
Let go off the keys. Now the machine is in test mode
control.

Check the right rotation counterclockwise of the gear motor by

checking also the end position. When the gear motor is in work
position the number 1 will appear on display. Check also that the

Rotation Clockwise of the Gear motor Key 5

Check the right rotation clockwise of the gear motor by

Checking also the end position. When the gear motor is in home
position, the number 2 will appear on display. Check also that the
gear motor isn’t noisy.

Function of the Coffee Grinder Key 4

Check the right function of the coffee grinder and that it is

rotating clockwise. Check the noise of the coffee grinder motor.
When the doser is full, the coffee grinder stops, number 3 will
appear on display.

Check the right function of the doser coil solenoid. Check that
the doser isn’t noisy, number 4 will appear on display.

Function of the Steam Electro valve Keys 1 + 5 + 4 or 1 + 5 + 2

Press and hold on same time keys # 1 + # 5 + # 4, or keys # 1 + #

5 + # 2. Check the right function of steam electro valve a click will
be heard.

Function of the Water Electro valve Keys 1 + 5 + 6 + 4

Press and hold on same time keys # 1 + # 5 + # 6 + # 4. Check

the right function of water electro valve a click will be heard.

Function of the Boilers Temperature Keys 1 + 5 + 2 + 3

Press and hold keys #1 + # 5 + # 2 + 3. On display will show

Temperature 1 on top and Temperature 2 on bottom. Temperature 1
shows brew boiler temperature value. Temperature 2 shows steam
boiler temperature value.

Absorbing big resistance coffee Boiler Keys 1 & 5

Press and hold keys # 1 + # 5. Check that the big resistance of

coffee boiler is absorbing. We can see it by checking boilers
temperature. In this case Temperature 1 must be increased.

Absorbing small resistance coffee Boiler Keys 1 & 4

Press and hold keys # 1 + # 4. Check that the small resistance of

coffee boiler is absorbing.

Absorbing resistance Steam Boiler Keys 1 & 3

Press and hold keys # 1 + # 3. Check that the resistance of steam

boiler is absorbing. We can see it by checking boilers temperature. In
this case Temperature 2 must be increased.

Function of all Micro switches

• Turn steam knob ON. Check that the micro switch engages

For Entering in the Programming Mode, press the following key’s

• When machine is “OFF”

Press at the same time and hold key’s # 3 and # 6.
Turn “ON” the machine by the main switch.
Let go off the keys. Now the machine is in
programming mode.

• When machine is in “Energy saving” mode

Press at the same time and hold key’s # 3 and # 6.
Then press key # 7.
Let go off the keys. Now the machine is in programming
mode.

Water Hardness Setting Key 1

Press key # 1 to set water hardness. There are 4 levels of water

hardness.
Water hardness No 1:
Press key # 1 Once, brew group warning light comes ON
This will be Water hardness set to #1. In this level, machine
requires to be descaled after 400 Liters water run through machine.
Water hardness No 2:

Press key # 1 One more time; brew group and descaling
warning lights will be ON.
This will be Water hardness set to # 2. In this level, machine
requires to be descaled after 200 Liters water run through machine.
Water hardness No 3:
Press key # 1 One more time; brew group, descaling and dump
box warning lights will be ON.
This will be Water hardness set to # 3. In this level, machine
requires to be descaled after 100 Liters water run through machine.
Water hardness No 4:
Press key # 1 One more time; brew group, descaling, dump box
and coffee bean warning lights will be ON.
This will be Water hardness set to # 4. In this level, machine
requires to be descaled after 50 Liters water run through machine.

Pre Brewing On /Off Key 2

Pre brewing ON
Press key # 2, medium cup coffee icon (LED) ON, pre brewing ON.
Pre brewing OFF
Press key # 2, medium cup coffee icon (LED) OFF, pre brewing
OFF.

Pre Grinding On /Off Key 5

Pre Grinding ON
Press key # 5, cup warmer icon (LED) ON, pre grinding ON.
Pre grinding OFF
