A. Reviewing previous lesson/ Let’s Remember
Presenting the new lesson Students recall if they already experience doing simple tool repair. They will share it in class.
B. Establishing a purpose for the Idea Starts
lesson Teacher uses lines to give preview about the lesson. Students will give idea.
Repairs are jobs that occur anytime. Although inspection of tools are done annually there are hand tools found to
be condemnable.

of the new lesson Teacher will demonstrate the step by step procedure on how to do simple tool repair in a hammer.

statement step into the circle.

abstractions about the lesson Each student lists 1-2 ideas about repairing simple tool. One volunteer begins the “idea wave” by sharing his/her
idea. The student to the right of the volunteer shares one idea; the next student to the right shares one idea.
Teacher directs the idea wave until several different ideas have been shared. At the end of the formal idea wave,
a few volunteers who were not included may contribute.
