2 Features
The remote terminal is an indicator and operating unit in a fire detection installation
with the following functions:

Indication of events
 'ALARM'
– 'Pre-ALARM'
 'Trouble'
 'Bypassed'
 'Supervisory'

Operation
 Silence buzzer
 Acknowledge and reset alarms and troubles
 Three buttons configurable with the Engineering tool set.
The display on the remote terminal is synchronized with 'Panels' of the configured
visibility and displays the same event texts.

There is a limit on the number of events which can be displayed. You will find details
of this in the corresponding chapter.

 Maximum number of events which can be displayed [➙ 7]

2.1 Maximum number of events which can be displayed

The maximum number of events which can be displayed is limited as follows and
depends on the event text length:

Display representation Max. number (long event texts)

'Extended view' 18
'Standard view ' 37

Events are displayed by priority. Once the maximum number of events which can be
displayed is reached, events of a higher priority take the place of those of a lower
priority in the display.
Events which are no longer displayed due to this limit can be listed in full on the
control panel.

'Trouble' and 'Intervention Concept' (IC)

On consideration of 'Intervention Concept', events of the 'Trouble' category can be
assigned their own sequence. This sequence may be configured differently and
depends on the 'Occupied operation' / 'Unoccupied operation' operation mode.
An exemplary process following a 'Trouble', taking in account 'Intervention Concept', is
outlined below:

'Trouble' has occurred.

 'Unoccupied operation' operation mode
– Remote transmission for 'Troubles' is activated.
 'Occupied operation' operation mode
– The remote transmission for 'Trouble' is activated unless '' is acknowledged
within the delay t1.
