Installation

• Hammer Drill 10mm hole to a depth of 65mm on centerline of fixing position using SDS
drill.
• Remove any debris from the hole. Using blow-out pump.
• Attach mixing nozzle+ extension to cartridge before placing in application gun, discharge
resin until the colour become even. Failure to do this could result in the resin not curing
properly.

• Inject mixed resin into the hole. Starting with the nozzle at the bottom of the hole and
working outwards. The hole should be approximately 2/3rds filled.
• Immediately after resin is injected into the hole, twist threaded rod into the resin. Make sure
that excess resin emerges from the mouth of the hole as an indication that sufficient resin
has been used. Wipe away any excess while wet or chip off when cured.
• Leave resin to cure completely before applying any load. Curing time is dependent on the
temperature.
• Tighten the nut to the maximum recommended torque of 10Nm using calibrated torque
wrench.

Installation

• The FUR is suitable for push-through installation.


• Screwing in the screw causes the individual teeth to expand. In solid materials, the teeth
create even expansion forces. In hollow materials, the teeth expand through the solid part of
the block and form an undercut in the cavity.
• With vertically perforated bricks, only use rotary drilling (no impact drilling).
• Recommended for the installation of timber constructions.
• FUR-SS with hexagon head screw or FUR-FUS with hexagon head screw and U-washer is
recommended for the installation of metal constructions.

• When turning in the screw, the SX expands in four directions, thus providing a secure
anchoring in the building material.
