7.0 P RO CE D U R E
7.1 W E L L PREPARATION PRIOR N/D X-M AS T RE E
1. Notify Production Department of the program commencement. Complete platform audit
checklist to identify platform condition.
2. Hold PJSM on location between Workover Site Manager, Production Supervisor and Business
Partners. Review work program, JSA and ensure following critical issues are discussed:
 Well control
 All lifting gear inspected and have proper certification
 Lifting plan discussed including Roles and Responsibility for each personnel assigned
 Barge craned inspected and have proper certification
 Competent Crane operator
 Ensure all equipment to be lifted are still below Safe Working Load (SWL) of crane and
lifting gear
 Perform heavy lift inspection
 Limit number of personnel around lifting operation and emphasize of line of fire during PJSM
 Scaffolding to be installed and certified
 All personnel working at height to use full body harness and practice 100% tied-off
 Emphasize on Stop Work Authority if in doubt or on any uncertain/abnormal condition
 Proper PPE to be used all the time
3. Check and record tubing pressure and casing pressure. Report the pressures in the morning
report.
4. Perform tubing-hanger cavity test 3000 psi with hydraulic oil (using hand pump) for 15 minutes.
Decrease from test pressure (15 minutes test) shall not exceed 10% of test pressure and shall
have a decreasing rate of change. Record cavity test on chart and report the result to Completion
Engineer/Workover Superintendent. Bleed off pressure.
5. M/U surface line to 3-1/2” x 9-5/8” annulus. Pressure test surface line to 300 psi low pressure
and 2000 psi high pressure Hold each test for 5 minutes. Ensure pressure stabilize (flat line) and
no visible leaks. WSM to verify the integrity of pressure test
6. Bullhead annulus with FSW completion brine. Maximum pumping pressure 1,801 psi. Bleed off
pressure to 0 psi thru gas buster

Contingency if PX-plug leaking at kill string


- M/U pump in tee and surface line. Line up 2” surface line from Elnusa pump manifold to
pump in tee. Pressure test surface line 300 psi low pressure and 3500 psi high pressure Hold
each test for 5 minutes. Ensure pressure stabilize (flat line) and no visible leaks. WSM to
verify the integrity of pressure test. Bleed off tubing and annulus pressure to 0 and observe
well
- R/U Slickline, pressure test PCE 300 psi low pressure and 2000 psi high pressure. Hold each
test for 5 minutes. Ensure pressure stabilize (flat line) and no visible leaks. WSM to verify
integrity of pressure test. Perform the following steps (Update slickline reports are attached)
- RIH and retrieve WRSV from HLN at 433 ft. Note: WRSV must be inspected and redressed
once at surface (Potentially performed by Production Team)

- Bullhead down tubing at 1.5 times tubing volume ft with FSW completion brine. Maximum
bullhead pressure 1,801 psi. Observe tubing and bleed off pressure to 0 psi thru gas buster
- Circulate out hole clean with FSW completion brine until fluid clean at surface
- R/D Slickline
7. Install BPV manually as per TECHNIPFMC procedure.

7.2 N/D X-M A S T R E E AND R/U HWU-225


8. Keep pump running at the annulus and closely monitor annulus pressure at all time during N/D
X-Mas Tree and R/U BOP.
9. N/D FMC X-Mas Tree. Limit maximum crane tension to 5T during N/D tree process to avoid
connector snap out. Check condition of tubing hanger.
10. Install tubing-hanger test plug and control line plug.
11. N/U BOP & 11" Riser. Perform BOP as per Initial Pressure Test below (this step to be
performed stump test on barge):
a) VBR : 300/5000 psi
b) BR : 300/5000 psi
c) Annular Preventer : 300/3500 psi
d) Riser Connection : 3000 psi
If the operation is still on going on the same well 21 days after the Initial Pressure Test above,
then perform BOP Subsequent Test(s) below:
a) VBR : 300/2500 psi
b) BR : 300/2500 psi
c) Annular Preventer : 300/2500 psi
12. R/U HWU-225 & function test system as per Elnusa Procedure.
13. Retrieve tubing-hanger test plug and BPV as per TECHNIPFMC procedure. Ensure no gas
trapped below BPV.

7.3 P UL L O U T K I L L S T R I N G
14. M/U TECHNIPFMC tubing hanger Retrieving Tool. RIH and M/U landing joint.
15. Hold PJSM with all involved personnel prior retrieving completion. Review work program, JSA
and ensure following critical issues are discussed:
 Well control: keep filling the well thru annulus with FSW completion brine at 0.5 BPM or at
lowest pump rate during POOH completion
 Perform trip drill with all crew involved prior TOH
 Limit the number of personnel on work basket during TOH completion
 Plug control line prior POOH completion
 Install strip rubber and put hole cover to prevent drop object into the well
16. Clear window basket from non-essential personnel. Untighten tubing hanger hold down screw.
Keep pumping the tubing with FSW completion brine at lowest pump rate. Pull out seal
assembly from packer bore with maximum pull 165 Klbs (80% of yield brand new pipe of 3-

1/2” TSB tubing) until completion string free. Record normal pick-up weight and continue
picking up string 10 ft. Confirm well stable before continuing POOH.
Notes:
 Monitor trip tank at all times.
 Immediately stop operation, shut-in the well and inform Workover Superintendent and
Completion Engineer if seen anomaly at the surface
 Inform Workover Superintendent and Completion Engineer if completion string is
unable to be free with maximum ~165 Klbs.
17. L/D FMC tubing hanger to top deck. Perform and visual check and prepare for re-run
18. Continue POOH existing completion.

7.4 TIH N E W C O MP L E T I O N
19. Hold PJSM with all involved personnel prior RIH Lower Completion. Review work program,
JSA and ensure following critical issues are discussed:
 Well control method to be used for killing well in case swabbing/kick observed
 Potential pinch points during make-up
 Ensure all JSA and work permits are prepared well in advance of the operations. SLB and
BHI to provide JSA and obtain approval from WSM prior RIH Upper Completion.
 Schlumberger and WSM to agree on final space-out.
 Ensure proper placement to avoid inefficiency during RIH upper completion.
 Final running tally to be review and approved by Completion Engineer, Workover
Superintendent and SLB Completion Field Service Manager prior RIH Upper Completion.

Prior to PU the first BHA, make sure to do the following critical check:
 Schlumberger tool specialist, Elnusa and PHKT representatives to measure all
components and prepare BHA schematic including depths, OD’s and ID’s, ensure
all equipment can be RIH inside 9-5/8” casing 47 ppf and 7” casing 29 ppf.
 Drift all tubular prior to TIH
 Perform well control drill.
 Verify fluid loss rate and correct fill-up/displacement
 Check tubing hanger control line port
 Apply the torque value requirements for all premium connections
 Any major change to the approved Standard Completion Program should be
discussed with the Completion Engineer and WSM prior to completion string
running

20. Make up completion string jewelry and seal assembly as per attached proposed well schematic.

21. M/U and RIH 3-1/2” 9.2# TSB/TMK UP tubing, completion jewelries and Bell Nipple as per
tally approved by Completion Engineer and SLB Completion Supervisor in town

 PX Plug and Prong already installed at X-landing nipple and tested to 3,000 psi
 Keep filling up the well thru annulus with FSW completion brine at 0.5 BPM or at lowest
pump rate during TIH completion
 WSM to confirm the tubing inspection result from PSB
 Monitor make-up torque closely during tubing connection

- Pressure test tubing integrity#1: M/U and TIH Bell Nipple, 1 joint tubing, X-landing
nipple, 1 joint tubing, 7”x3-1/2” bluepack packer, 1 joint tubing, SSD (in closed
position), 1 joint tubing. Pressure test PX-plug against 3-1/2” tubing, 7”x3-1/2” blue
pack packer and 3-1/2” SSD (in close position) at 500 psi. After test complete, R/U
slickline and retrieve PX-plug and prong from X-landing nipple.
 Pressure test tubing integrity#2:
- Set PX-plug and prong at SSD nipple. Pressure test PX-plug and prong against
tubing to 4,000 psi
22. Resume TIH 3-1/2”, 9.2# completion string with bell nipple and 7”x3-1/2” bluepak packer.
Note:
- Perform tubing test integrity every 15 joints at 4,000 psi
- Check tubing weight regularly
- Running speed as per SLB recommendation
- Run slowly for bluepak packer accessing 9-5/8”x7” packer
- Monitor well pressure closely
23. Make up 3-1/2” Hydraulic Landing Nipple with WRSV already installed.
24. Cut ¼” control line. Make up the control line to hydraulic landing nipple port and pressure test
line integrity to 5000 psi. Function test the safety valve 3 times and record return volumes.
Keep pressure 5000 psi in control line while TIH.
25. Resume TIH 3-1/2” 9.2# as per tally.
26. Tag slowly tubing cut at 9,421 ft and verify with set down weight 10 klbs. Mark pipe and
verify the tubing cut depth.
27. Space out and M/U Tubing hanger on landing joint and TIH same to window.. Bleed off
control line pressure to 0. Cut ¼” control line (ensure give enough wrap of control line 3-5
round below of tubing hanger), connect the excess line from spooling unit to top of THRT,
flush the tubing hanger port to remove debris. Make up control line downhole side to tubing
hanger port below the hanger. Pressure test line integrity to 5000 psi. Function test safety valve
3 times and record return volumes. Maintain pressure 5000psi while RIH the hanger.
28. Drain riser and BOP stack prior landing hanger.
29. RIH tubing hanger to landing shoulder.
30. Close Annular (ensure low closing pressure as control line passing the BOP to prevent
crushing the control line). Pressure test backside seals and packer 500 psi for 15 minutes
(ensure seals integrity prior final landing, slight drop pressure might be observed as control
line passing annular seals). Open annular.
31. Slowly pull out with overpull max 10 klbs.
32. R/U Slickline, pressure test PCE to 300 psi low pressure and 3,000 psi high pressure Hold each
test for 5 minutes. Ensure pressure stabilize (flat line) and no visible leaks. WSM to verify
integrity of pressure test.
- Retrieve WRSV from Hydraulic Landing Nipple
- RIH and retrieve PX-lug and prong from SSD Landing nipple
- RIH 2.6” IB to tag Top of fish. POH.
Contingency plan If tubing cut is inaccessible,
1. Rotate completion string to make good alignment to access tubing cut

3. Tappered milling tool should be run by 1-1/4” macc pipe and mud motor

35. Pressure test backside against packer to 300/1,500 psi for 30 minutes on charts
7.6 N/U T W I N BOP S AND RUN M IL L ING TO O L

36. N/U 3-1/2” Safety valve 5K + twin BOP on Window basket. Pressure test twin BOP against
PX plug to 3,000 psi
37. Retrieve PX prong and plug body from HLN
38. R/D Slickline

Ensure to check the following prior RIH mac pipe:


 FOSV (in full open position) and the key to operate are available at the window basket
 Required crossovers for the tubulars to be ran are at the workbasket
 Pump operator to monitor the well via trip tank at all time during RIH and POOH mac pipe
 Review and perform well control drill with both day and night shift crew
 Rabbit all mac pipe and ensure mac pipe clean before RIH
 Perform PJSM discussing well control issue and personnel R&R during sand clean out
 Perform Stump Test for twin BOP

39. R/ M/U and function test 2.75” milling BHA at surface as per Baker’s SOP. (Milling BHA is
advised by Baker Specialists and approved by WO Superintendent).

40. TIH with 2.75” Baker Milling BHA (Junk Mill) as per attached BHA on 1-1/4” Mac pipe while
keeping the hole full with FSW completion brine.
Note :
- Monitor 3-1/2” x 9-5/8” annulus at all times during RIH & POOH mac pipe. Record &
report casing pressure on DMR
- Record the neutral weight and the slack off weight at predetermined increments while
running in hole to target depth.
- Run in hole at controlled speed and slow down through completion accessories. Limit RIH
Speed 20 fpm
- Perform function test motor every 20 joints
41. At 9,400 ft, performed function test as follows:

42. Continue TIH and tag top of fish at 9,425 ft, check P/U, S/O (Record in Morning Report).
43. Start pumping with FSW + Hivis brine, adjust pump rate/ pressure until good return observed
at surface as per Baker thru tubing specialists. Mill out fish at 9421 ft MD. Watch for fish drop
indication and motor stall
Note:
- Monitor 3-1/2” x 9-5/8” annulus at all times during TIH & TOH mac pipe. Record & report
casing pressure on Morning Report
- Inform town if metal / debris/return not observed at surface
- FSW Hi-Vis brine recipe: FSW + 0.8 gal/bbl HEC liquid. Target viscosity: 40 cp
(equivalent to 63 sec/quartz)
- Safe lube to be ready on board in case found high pick-up weight on high deviation part.
- Reciprocate every 10 feet to ensure the tubing is clean from debris and no overpull
achieved. Pump Hi Vis to ensure cutting in return is clear.
- Set down between 1000 and 3000 lbs depending on the bottom hole assembly’s limitations
- Minimize connection time
- Inform workover superintendent/completion engineer if no milling progress.
- Discuss well control method and personnel R&R during PJSM prior Milling out job
- Always monitor trip tank for losses. Inform workover superintendent/completion engineer if
loss circulation occurs during Milling out then perform the Loss Circulation Contingency
step.
- If kick observed, shut-in well as per Elnusa shut-in procedure. Record mac pipe pressure,
SITP, SICP and inform Workover Superintendent. Circulate out influx and kill the well
- If anomaly observed during Milling, inform workover superintendent/ completion engineer
first before performing any circulation to bring influx out.

44. Push down fish to ±10,600 ft (proposed for 2.5” MRBP depth) with maximum 3000 lbs sit
down weight.
45. TOH mill BHA to surface and keep hole full
46. R/U slickline. Pressure test lubricator at 300/2500 psi. RIH and 2.72” TGC to bottom.
7.7 N/D T W I N BOP S , R/D HWU-225 AND N/U X-M AS T RE E
47. Ensure 3-1/2” x 9-5/8” annulus full with completion brine. Put the annulus on choke and
closely monitor annulus pressure at all time during N/D X-Mas Tree and R/U BOP. Ensure
tubing and casing pressure is stable at 0 psi.
48. Set BPV as per TECHNIPFMC procedure, N/D twin BOPs, R/D HWU-225 and N/D BOP.
49. N/U FMC X-mast tree
50. Pressure test the tubing bonnet from the tubing hanger adapter cavity test port to 3000 psi for
15 min to test the connection between the tubing bonnet with the wellhead. Decrease from test
pressure (15 minutes test) shall not exceed 10% of test pressure and shall have a decreasing
rate of change.
51. Install wing valve, choke body, and production flow line.
52. Retrieve BPV.
53. Pressure test body tree against wing valve to 300/3,000 psi against PX-Plug and test flow line
to 600 psi.

54. R/U Slickline, pressure test PCE to 300 psi low pressure and 2000 psi high pressure Hold each
test for 5 minutes. Ensure pressure stabilize (flat line) and no visible leaks. WSM to verify
integrity of pressure test. Perform the following job:
a) Pull Prong and PX Plug body from X-Landing Nipple
b) Set WRSSV at Hydraulic Landing Nipple. Perform function test as per SLB procedure.
c) R/D Slickline
55. Suspend operation for Slickline (GLRA) and Mast Unit Operation.
