Dear George Patrick ,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted as a full-time student in Senior Secondary (Grade 11) program at Columbia College for Fall
2020, with classes starting in September 2020.
Conditions of Acceptance
• A tuition deposit including activity fees of $6,635.00 must be paid before July 15, 2020. An official letter of acceptance will be issued when the full
amount is paid.
•A final official transcript from the school you're currently attending.
Fees
The tuition fee at the college is assessed at $550.00 per credit. Please refer to the attached Schedule of Fees for more details. The deadline for tuition
deposit payment is July 15, 2020 in order for you to register in Fall 2020. We cannot guarantee your registration in a full-time program if you pay fees
after this date. For better choice of courses, you may choose to start in a later semester.
Orientation and registration
Please plan to arrive at the college in time for Orientation (August 31, 2020 to September 4, 2020). Before you start classes, you must attend a course
planning and registration appointment with a counsellor. To make an appointment, please contact
[email protected] as soon as you have
paid the tuition deposit in full and confirm your arrival date.
Placement testing before registration
Your placement at the appropriate English level will be determined by external Language tests (such as IELTS or TOEFL), or College College's
Language and Writing Assessment (LWA). If you have a valid external language test result, you should not write the LWA during Orientation. Instead,
you will proceed with mathematic testing if required (see below).
New students registering in a university-level mathematics class at Columbia College are required to take the Math Placement Test (MPT) unless they
are exempted. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have questions about placement testing.
Documents to bring to Orientation
Please bring a copy of this letter with you when you come to Orientation. Please also note the status of the following documents. If you
have not submitted them yet and they are required to register, please send them to the college as soon as they're available or bring them to
the front office at Orientation.
Custodianship Document (Columbia College), Final Official Transcript Aug 2020
If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] or by phone at 604-683-8360. We look forward
