Assessment Task 8-1

I. A Research Artist 1.

1. Choose any visual artist whose work you enjoy. Pick one or more pieces of art that they
created. In a descriptive list, a paragraph, or an essay, examine how those pieces embody the
elements and principles of art. For instance:

Pablo Picasso

( Pablo Picasso Famous Cubist Paintings Painting Ideas in Nov 19, 2018)

Based on the art work I chose that work by Pablo Picasso reflects the pieces of elements
and principles of art in his work because if you see in his art there are different colors, there are
shapes, there are textures, forms, and the lastly, his work has value because I know that his
work is important and makes sense because he didn't just do it. I know that his art has
something to say and something to say and he also used materials and more his work is
beautiful because it has color and shape so the outcome of his art is better and more beautiful
and his art becomes even more colorful.
2. Are some principles and elements more obvious in the work than others?

Yes, the principles and elements are more obvious in work or art because if you notice
in all paintings, drawings, art works you can immediately see the principles and elements that
they use compared to others that you don't like in singing or music, dance, theater does not see
the principles and elements here because it is done by man personally performed so the
principles and elements are not obvious or visible to others because only art works, drawings,
paintings can be seen.

3. Which ones does the artist use most effectively?

I think the most effective use by artists is color, shape, and value because this is what
will help an artist's art work because when we make an art work we prioritize shapes so we
know if what is the result of our work next to the color because it also gives a lot of help
because an artist's work becomes more colorful and beautiful and to quickly assess what is
referred to here of course the value of the artwork is also important because it shows a beauty
of an art and it has a different hint or express of art.

4. How does all of this come together to create unity?

To create unity or harmony in art, artists arrange the similar components and elements
of art to create consistency. Unity or harmony can also be created by merging the form and the
meaning of the artwork together. The principles of design are ways to organize the elements of
Art to create a wide range of effects.
II. Create Your Own Work of Art You know the principles. You know the elements. You've done
the research. Now it's time to put your skills to the test. Using the visual medium of your
choice, create a work of art. Allow the basic principles and elements of art to guide you and
influence your style. Think about creating unity in your work. Which artists inspired this
particular work of art? Write an artistic statement to go along with your work.

(The beautiful, peaceful tree by Nicol, Viatriz Deanne D.)

What I chose to do is about nature if you can see in the artwork I made is a beautiful
tree that is cosy look because while I am doing it I want to be quiet and peaceful just like in art
work I am peaceful and quiet look so about nature the I chose it because I want our
environment to be well and back to normal, there are no problems, it's just pure fun, when we
see our nature is peaceful and beautiful, we will feel ok. In the artwork I made if you will notice
I used this elements and principles because I used material like paint different colors to make
my art smooth and beautiful and I think that my art work has elements and principle it has line
and shapes also my art work. the artist who inspired me so I made a beautiful tree and it's
about nature it's Andy Goldsworthy he's a naturalist which means all his art comes from or is
related to nature so he's the one who inspired me why this is what I thought to do because I
know and I feel that he loves nature and we are equally important to us nature this is what he
does art because all his work is about nature and some people say that if you really love nature, you
can find beauty everywhere so let's appreciate and love our nature.
