General Instruction: Answer the following questions/items on a short bond paper.


Scan/take a photo (clear/legible) of your answer sheet. Convert it
into one pdf file. Name it “Activity 1 <Your Last Name>” (e.g. Activity
1 Dela Cruz). Send through the designated platform on or before the
deadline.

I. Essay
1. Explain the two techniques in getting samples and give an example for each.
2. When is sampling applied? Cite the benefits and limitations of sampling.
3. Of the six types of scientific sampling design, choose three and give an example for
each.
4. In your own opinion, which is better, scientific sampling or non-scientific sampling?
Why?
5. If the population is 1,500, compute for the sample size. How do you get the sample size
of 1,500 using the systematic sampling?
6. To what kind of population is sampling not applicable? What do you apply to this
population? Why?
7. Explain briefly the three types of non-scientific sampling design.
