F2 Quick Reference Programming Guide (USB)

Copy the software to PC

1. Run ARControl.exe：

Input software password (default: admin), after successful, it displays main interface：

To Set the password and language of software：
Click “File”→ select “Setting”, entering into software setting interface：

Setting software password：Input password and confirm setting.
Setting language:：Select “Chinese or English”, then click “Set”.

2. All Employee Info Management


Click “All Employee Info Management” in the main interface：

You can add/delete employee's info in the above interface.


3. Device Management

To connect device to PC, click “Device Management” in the main interface of software, then click
“Get Information” to get the relevant info of device (Factory Default Setting)：

Please operate the following steps if more than one device:


a. Name the “Device Name” with “Gate”, “Office”, etc separately;
b. Input any digit(s) in “Device ID” with 1, 2, 3…;
c. Select “USB” from “Communication Mode” and “COM1” from “ComPort”;
d. Click “Add” to add the device to the “Device List”;
e. Select “Device Name” to modify the items under “Operation Mode”;
f. Please Click “Set Information” to save the above settings.

※ No repeat ID numbers for “Device ID”.


※ Please click “Device Init” then operate by following the above steps to modify “Device ID”.
※ No recommendation for setting “Password”, please do remember the relevant password and
its corresponding device if necessary, and in case of forgetting, please send back to factory.
4. Adding new users

To click “Fingerprint/card Enrollment”：

a) To select the device from “Device Name” to enroll fingerprint and cards

b) To click “Select User” to select the user who will enroll fingerprint and cards:
c. Click “Select” or double click the selected user to enroll the fingerprint user/cardholder

After enrolling successful, click “Exit” to finish register.

5. Upload/Download
Click “Upload/Download” on the Main interface:

(a) Select the “Device ID”—Users—“From Device To PC”;


(b) Select the “Device ID”—Users—Choose Device(s) from “Download Device” —“From PC
To Device”.
The fastest way to select users:
※ To select all/part: select the front user, press “shift” always, then select the last user to be
chosen;
※ To select one/deselect user: press “Ctrl” always, then click the user(s) to be
selected/deselected.
