Boiler Room

The integrated steam system diagram shows a boiler that produces steam which is sent to a deaerator to remove dissolved gases. Condensate returns from the steam system to the deaerator where it is pre-heated and mixed with softened makeup water in the boiler feed system before being sent to the boiler to repeat the cycle. Blowdown is removed from the system to control impurities and sent to a blowdown heat recovery system before further treatment.
