GENERAL NOTES
A. GENERAL
2.CONCRETE:-
a. THESE NOTES SHOULD BE READ IN CONJUCTION WITH RELEVANT CONTRACT
THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF CONCRETE SHALL BE USED FOR ALL 4- CONCRETE FINISH:-
CONDITIONS, TECHNICAL, DRAWINGS AND BILL OF QUANITITIES FOR THE PROJECT.
WHEREEVER MORE THAN ONE SET OF STANDARDS IS USED TO SPECIFY A STRUCTUREAL/NONSTRUCTUREAL COMPONENTS OF THE BRIDGE
AND APPROACHES ALL EXPOSED CONCRETE SURFACES ABOVE GROUND SHALL HAVE "FAIR FACE"
MATERIAL, TEST OR LEVEL OF WORKMANSHIP THE MOST STRINGENT
FINISH ALL SHARP EXPOSED EDGES OF CONCRETE SHALL BE CHAMFERED.
REQUIREMENTS SHALL GOVERN UNLESS SPECIFICALLY OTHERWISE NOTED.
TO INCREASE WORKABILITY OF THE CONCRETE, ENGINEER'S
ALL FORM WORKS SHALL BE OF SMOOTH STEEL PLATES PROPERLY STRENGHTED
b. ALL MATERIALS USED AND WORKMANSHIP INVOLVED IN THE EXECUTION OF ALL APPROVED PLASTICIZER/ADMIXTURE MAY USED AFTER DETERMINING & BRACED AGAINST WAVES WOBBLING OR BUCKLING.
WORKS COVERED UNDER THE CONTRACT SHALL BE IN STRICT CONFORMITY WITH THE QUANTITY AT DESIGN MIX STAGE.
