Senses are natural organisms which provide data for perception. Traditionary there are
five basic senses [1] Sight, [2] Hearing, [3] Taste, [4] Smell and [5] Touch other senses
are [6] Balance and acceleration, [7] Temperature, [8] Kinetic sense, [9] Pain, [10] Time
etc..

highlighting the role of biological knowledge in problem solving

6.1-Introduction!
Biology is the study of living things divided into many specialised fields that
cover morphology, physiology, anatomy, behaviour, origin and distribution X-Brain

Living things are [1] plants and [2] animals while non living things are dead
plants and animals,
[1] Plants are living organisms of the kind exemplified by trees,
shrubs, herbs, grasses, typically growing in a permanent site , absorbing 2-Ears
water and inorganic substances through its roots, and synthesizing nutrients Hearing
in its leaves by photosynthesis using the green pigment chlorophyll.
under the sun, dead plants and animals are a source of food to the living
plants and animals thus
[2] Animals are living organisms that feeds on organic matter,
typically having specialised sense organs and nervous system and able to 4-Nose

6.4-The role of Senses
Senses are natural organisms which bridge the gap between the sun , the moving world
GASES
and a given animal . In a given place. The sun transforms [1] solids into [2] gases through
[3] Liquids creating two distinct natural states of matter [1] visible or physical [2] the
invisible or gases i.e Liquid is a transitional state of matter from solid to gas. Animals
SOLIDS/ LIQUIDS have got natural organs [senses] which can identify matter under any of the two given
states thus the natural role of senses is classified into [1] Physical role and [2] Chemical
role or [1] organs to do with Visible matter and [2] organs to do with Invisible matter.
In the absence of the visible , the invisible senses step in to provide the answer and in the

Basic Research 6.8-The mouth and Nose
Dead plants and animals provide food to the living animals. The nose along side the
mouth differentiates between dead plants and animals through taste and smell. In
uganda there are 12,104 possible plants tastes and smell and 1061 possible smells
6.5-Classfication of roles of senses and tastes for birds alone and over 50 animal tastes and smells

6.7-The ears
Common sense is a situation when the physical senses are at equilibrium or
agreement with the chemical senses i.e the Eyes Vs Nose, mouth, Ears and Hands
The ears are a natural sense or organ for earing . Wild animals make sounds N.B the sun or heat and light from the sun influences sight
in uganda there are 1061 known bird sounds and over 50 known animals

Basic Research 6.14-Research Methods
Research methods in a lay man’s language refers to the various ways of getting
information. Information can be obtained by using any of the five natural senses
[1] the sense of sight key in making Observation
6.11-Factors affecting Common senses [2] the sense of hearing by the use of ears
[3] the sense of smell by use of the nose
[4] the sense of taste by the use of the mouth
The following factors may affect proper use and functioning of ones natural [5] the sense of touch by use of fingers and hands
organs for better understanding
Where in the absence of primary data, one may ask questions using a
1-Lack of food and poor feeding may affect or cause diseases which can lead questionnaire or and organised interview or read from books what has been observed
to poor sight , hearing smell and touch by others before
2-Indoctrination . To indoctrinate is to teach a person or group to accept a set
of beliefs uncritically without asking.

Research is a process which involves an activity aimed at creating sense to Tropical Region/
a given situation .i.e The eyes capture physical data, combines it with
physical sound and taste to create a data file
Using and example of a cow, [1] The eyes will see a cow, [2] the ears will South Temperate Region

hear its sound [3] the nose and mouth will pick its taste
Failure to strike a balance of any the above creates a question mark [?] Or a
problem which necessitates research
By definition, research is a systematic investigation into and study of
materials and sources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions The human brain is an organ of soft nervous tissue which coordinates all senses its
equally and primarily affected by the heat and light from the sun. The external heat and
Fig:6 light exerts pressure on the brain which determines how the body uses its senses i.e
Physical being Chemical being [1] in the temperate regions the brain freezes up causing more internal conservative
Visible In visible presence reactions thus the chemical senses of 2-Hearing, Taste, smelling and touch are so
active thus human understanding is an internal [chemical or invisible activity]
[2] in the tropical the brain receives heat [melt down] which triggers an external reaction
Cow? Cow? Cow? which actives more the sense of sight against i.e Hearing, Taste, touch and feeling

6.16-The Reading culture
Reading is the action or skill of reading written or printed matter silently or aloud. The
6.13-Reseach-Problem ability to understand here is dependant upon the place and state of being of the natural
organisms [senses] understanding printed matter is a chemical process thus
temperate brains here are at an advantage while the tropical brains will naturally be
A Research problem is a matter or a situation which requires a physical challenged. Reading is not part of the tropical culture and thus writing books is not an
answer to an invisible situation such as taste or sound or an invisible answer appropriate way to pass on knowledge. There is nothing wrong with you if you cannot
to a physical occurrence such as a cow requiring its sound and taste. read and understand. It's a natural phenomena.

6.21-Mathematics
6.19-Death Simplifying mathematics has been Dr.Boasmas’s primary goal in creating
sustainable knowledge
From the biological point of view [ biology the study of living organisms] In line with
the five traditional senses, mathematics is just an art or the ability to express what we
