Salvador Gem D. ASSIGNMENT 6

Rizal was charged with rebellion, sedition, and forming illegal associations for his role in the Katipunan movement. As his defense lawyer, I would have studied the entire case and presented supporting documents to prove the allegations against him were wrong in an attempt to save him from the death penalty. Though he died, Rizal's sacrifice was worth it as he inspired Filipinos to fight for basic rights and freedom, making him a symbol of serving one's country.

2. If you had been Rizal’s defense lawyer, what could you have done to save Rizal

I will do something to protect him from the death sentence by studying the entire
case. Probably, I will present some important papers, supporting documents to

their allegation was wrong and it must be corrected before they execute Rizal to
death.
