8,0 CONSTRUCTION METHOD
8,1 SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface to be coated must be clean, and free from oil, dust
and dirt, oil, wax, curing compounds and other contaminants.
Check Concrete Moisture Content must under 5%.
Grind all area to be coated to open concrete pores using hand
grinding and after that do the cleaning using a vacuum or
broom.
For cracks and honeycombs on concrete must be patched
using resin epoxy+sand.
8,2 COATING APPLICATION
1) Apply Primer Pentens E-008 before applying underlayment
Pentens Epoxy Mortar. Make sure that the substrate moisture
content is below 4%
2) Apply Pentens Epoxy Mortar after priming as underlayment
for subsequent epoxy coating using screedbox in to desired
thickness, and then flatten using trowel machine to get a flat
finish.
3) Apply PENTENS E-502 as locking layer using brush or roller
at rate 0.2 kg/m2, and let it dry for 8 hours.
4) Apply PENTENS E-502 with roll with broadcast of 20/40's
mesh silica sand (for high traffic area) at rate of 0,15 kg/m2
and then let it dry for 8 hours
After dry, clean the remaining sand with a broom and vacuum
before moving on to the next step.
5) Apply Pentens PU-603 Polyurethane FIRST Coating using
brush or roller at rate 0.25 kg/m2, and let it dry for 8 hours.
Apply Pentens PU-603 SECOND Coating using brush or roller
at rate 0.25 kg/m2, and let it dry for 24 hours.
