Job Description

Equipment Handled
SSV, Choke Manifold, ESD Panel, Eruption Manifold, Test Separator, Pipes Elbows (1502, 1002,
602, C900, C600) , PSV’s, Cross Over, Data header, Barton/Foxboro Surface recorder, Dead Weight Tester,
Chemical Injection Pumps, Diverters, Storage Tanks, Burner, Flare Stack, Instrumentations, Fittings,
Compressor, Generator and Data Acquisition Package.

Well Testing:
Diverting the well into test and production Header. Testing the wells individually by using Test
separator and MPFM.. Collecting crude or Gas Samples for Laboratory analysis. Handover test separators
for mechanical maintenance.

WELL TEST OPERATIONS 

 Inspection & Operation of Christmas tree. 


 Operation of Gas lift injection wells, Water injection wells. 
 Actuator operated Master valve and Wing valve, SSV (DHSV) operation. 
 Well equalizing, SSSV operation. 
 Maintaining unmanned well head platforms, and taking FTHP & STHP. 
 Test separator handling, well testing. 
 Orifice changing in the flow lines (DANIEL). 
 Panel board operations, Annulus pressure bleeding operation 
 Flow line choke changing and adjusting, Flow line PSL & PSH switches.
  Flow and pressure recording (IIT BURTON, FOXBORO). 
 Isolation and hand over the wells to well service for various jobs. 

Operation knowledge:

Inspection and operation of Christmas tree, flow line choke changing well actuating, well equalizing,
checking STHP, FTHP readings, well head panel operation, annulus pressure bleeding, surface safety valve
(SSV), sub surface safety valve (SSSV) operation, Test separator handling, well testing oil/gas/water. Taking
samples for check specific gravity and BS & W. Checking of water injection and gas injection wells. Gas
dehydration unit (GDU), Tri-ethylene Glycol (TEG) is used as the dehydration medium. Heating Medium-
STEAM.

UTILITIES 

  Handling of Utility &Instrument Air Compressor Unit. 


 Centrifugal Pump, Piston Pumps operation and Trouble shooting
 Water Treatment Plant, Produced Water Treatment Plant, Raw Water Treatment. 
 Sewage water and effluent treatment, cooling tower, chemical injection.
  Inert gas compressor, Nitrogen PSA System. 
 Familiar with the Power turbines parameters, Generator. 
 Fire water pumps operation.

SAFETY 

 H2S, CO Safety using Gas Tester. 


 Experience in the operation of fire extinguishers like foam, DCP (25kg), CO2 (10kg). 
 Knowledge of Smoke detectors, flame detectors, gas detectors. 
 Deluge valve, Hydrants, Sprinkler system Monitors, Fusible loop shutdown. 
 Familiar with breathing apparatus, fire and gas sirens, abandon alarms. 
 Life boat, life raft, life jacket, lifebuoy, scramble net, water sprayer, eye washer.
