Omnibus Policy in Kindergarten

I. APPLICATION:

Design your preschool classroom considering the learning space an environment required for
kindergarten? 10 pts

II. REFLECTION:

Base on your observation on the practices of our kindergarten schools, justify the following if
they are abiding the provision of DepEd Order 47. S. 2016 (3sentences only)

Teacher- Pupil Ratio: 1: 25

Yes, it is abiding the provision of DepEd Order 47.S. 2016 because when we see a
kindergarten school there is a 1 teacher and 25 students Because this will allow for closer
attention to be given to each student. sometimes there are lower than 25. But there is no more
than 25 students because the teacher cannot be handle that many children in a classroom.

Classroom Size: 7m x 9m

They following the size of a classroom because it is important for the teacher to maximize their
movement to a small classroom with a 25 child. And it is easy to handle a 25 students with a 7m
x 9m than with a large size. Also there are kindergarten school that has a large classroom size
because they adding more and more equipment for the child to use.

Minimum required furniture and equipment

All of kindergarten schools has the minimum furniture and equipment because they can’t remove
even one equipment or furniture but they can add something they want. And it is the right of
school to follow the minimum required furniture and equipment because it is for the children to
feel comfortable.
