Appetizing Savory Stuffed Crab Recipe

Crabs are challenging to clean but worth every penny and effort for seafood lovers! Many cuisines
offer some lip-smacking crab recipes. Here we have given a detailed stuffed crab recipe for your
seafood cravings.

Ingredients
● Medium crabs: 4 mons

For Masala
● 1 Onion finely chopped
● 4 tbsp Grated coconut
● 4 nos cloves
● Few black peppercorns
● ½ tsp coriander seeds
● 1 cinnamon stick
● 1 “ tamarind
● 4-5 cloves of garlic
● Salt to taste
For coating
● ½ cup Rava/Suji
● SAlt to taste
● ¼ tsp chili powder
● 1.2 tsp turmeric powder
Method
● Wash the crabs well in running water and separate the leg pieces.
● Separate the meat from the shells and preserve the shells.
● Take a pan and put the crab pieces in water, and let it boil till soft.
● Once cool, drain the water from the pan.
● Slowly remove the crab meat from each crab piece.
● Crack the legs and remove all the meat. (This is the challenging part!)
● The masalas have to be ground in a mixer to make a smooth paste. Season the wet masala
and add chopped onions to it.
● Take a mixing bowl and mix crab meat and masala. Shape them into small balls and stuff
them in the crab shells.
● For coating, take rava and add the dry masalas mentioned with it.
● Coat each crab shell with the rava mix and fry in a pan or a deep kadhai.
● Ensure that it gets crisp on each side.
● Serve hot with tamarind chutney or tomato chutney!

● Ensure that your crab is fresh (Live ones are the best if you can handle them!)
● While removing the crab meat from the boiled crab, take utmost care by removing all the
tiny bones.
● Separating crab meat from the bones is a tedious task; keep enough time in hand if you
