BRIEFING ON ASSESSMENT
ASSESSMENT 1 (30%)
1) Oral Test (10%) - Individual
Students are required to talk about a particular topic, including points to include inyour
talk.
You will be given one minute to prepare and make notes.
You will then be asked to talk for 1-2 minutes on the topic. You will not be interrupted
during this time, so it is important to keep talking.
The examiner will then ask you one or two questions on the same topic.
2) Role Play (20%) - Grouping
Students are required to form a group with 4-5 students. Students have to act based on
a situation in the Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi class and prepare a written dialogue.
The dialog must use Malaysia Malay Language. Choose a situation to act with group in
the Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi class.
All the group members must participate in that acting.
The students must write that dialogue.
The dialogue must be written in the standard Malaysia Malay Language in 1-2 pages.

ASSESSMENT 2 (40%)
1) Pamphlet (20%) - Grouping
The assignment is usually practiced students to visit somewhere new or if they are
interested in particular locations in Malaysia; they have to create a travel brochure to
share information about the place with others.
Students have to do presentation in the Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi class.
The presentation must use Malaysia Malay Language.
Students required to create a travel brochure to do presentation in the Bahasa Melayu
Komunikasi class.
The students can draw pictures, use photographs, add maps, and write details about the
place they are interested in Malaysia.
When you design your brochure, you will need to keep mind how people will unfold it so
that the panels will work together.
The pamphlet can be in A3 or A4 size.
The submission will be in softcopy only.
2) Midterm (20%)
Written test is a open-book examination of one hour. It seeks to determine students’
individual effectiveness in responding to specific questions under time-constrained
invigilated conditions.
The topic is include from Week 1 to Week 4 topics.
There are multi questions such as multi-choice questions, true/false, fill in the blank and
drag and drop questions.
FINAL EXAM (30%)
1) Final Exam (30%)
Final examination is a open-book examination. It seeks to determine students’ individual
effectiveness in responding to specific questions under time constrained invigilated
conditions.
There are two part for the final exam, PART A and PART B.
Part A is MCQ section consist 30% meanwhile Part B is short essay questions.
