There are thousands of Siemens (Moore) 760E Siemens (Moore) 760E Positioner
Positioners installed worldwide in various industries,
these all use the ABB OEM I/P converter module,
also known as the SENSYCON I/P.
This I/P module is available to all our sales and
distributors to sell as a spare part for the model 760E
Positioner.
Part number for the I/P module is: 7958070
During the last few years Siemens made a decision
to use a low cost I/P from another vendor for their
model 760E electro-pneumatic positioner, this low
cost I/P does not offer the same performance as the
proven ABB (SENSYCON) I/P. In some cases
customers are not willing to accept the low cost I/P
and would like to purchase the original.
The ABB (SENSYCON) I/P can be identified by the
Type number 22/06-65 marked on the label, the
Input is 4-20mA, Output 3-15psi, and Supply
pressure 20-150psi. The I/P part number 7958070 is
a “drop-in” replacement, the existing O-rings on the
760E interface manifold need to be reused.
