Increasingly multiculturality is a fact today. Consequently, multicultural education is also
becoming an increasingly salient concern. The paper given above discusses the question
of what communicating competently with people from other cultures means as it is
conceptualised by different cultures. By providing examples from the local context,
discuss the ways in which schools can produce competent intercultural communicators
based on the common factors discussed in the paper given above.
