O R D E R:
In the reference 4th read above, Government have issued a Preliminary Notification
under Sub-section (5) of Section - 3 of the A.P District (Formation) Act, 1974 (Act
No.7/1974), read with sub-rule (3) of Rule- 3 & 4 of the AP District (Formation) Rules,
1984, for reorganization of the existing Vijayawada (Urban) Revenue Mandal into
Vijayawada (East), Vijayawada (Central) Vijayawada (North) and Vijayawada (West)
Urban Mandals in Vijayawada Revenue Division of Krishna District and published in the
A.P. Extraordinary Gazette No.19, Dt.5.1.2018. The Government have requested the
District Collector, Krishna for publication of the Preliminary Notification in English and
Telugu in the District Gazette for information of the affected people and for giving wide
publicity as per Rule-4 of the A.P. District (Formation) Rules, 1984 duly calling for
suggestions and objections from the people affected by the said notification and furnish
the same to the Government along with the remarks through Chief Commissioner of
Land Administration after (30) days from the date of publication of the notification in the
district Gazette.
The District Collector, Krishna submitted a report vide reference 6th read above
stating that the above mentioned Preliminary Notification was published in the Krishna
District Gazette No. 89, Dt. 03.01.2018 inviting suggestions and objections from all the
affected. The District Collector, Krishna examined the merits of the objections received
and submitted a report to the Spl.C.S & Chief Commissioner of Land Administration,
A.P., Amaravati.
The Spl. C.S & Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P., Amaravati has
examined the report of the District Collector and furnished his remarks in the reference
7th read above requesting the Govt. for issue of Final Notification for re-organisation of
the Vijayawada (Urban) mandal into (4) Urban Mandals.
Government after careful consideration of the matter and in exercise of the powers
conferred under the A.P District (Formation) Act, 1974, hereby order for reorganization
of the Vijayawada (Urban) Mandal of Krishna district into (4 Urban Mandals, as per the
details set out in the final notification appended to these orders, which should be
published in an Extra Ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh gazette.
The Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Andhra Pradesh,
Vijayawada shall publish the appended notification in English and Telugu in the Extra-
Ordinary issue of Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated:14-5-2018 and furnish 100 copies of
the Gazette notification for the use of the Government, the CCLA and 500 copies to the
Collector, Krishna District.
The Collector, Krishna District shall publish the Final Notification in English and
Telugu in the District Gazette.

APPENDIX
FINAL NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-sections (2) and (5) of section-3 of the
Andhra Pradesh District (Formation) Act, 1974 (Andhra Pradesh Act No. 7 of 1974), in
the interest of better administration and development of the areas, after having published
the proposals in Extra Ordinary issue of A.P. Gazette No. 19 dt. 5.1.2018 as required
under sub section (5) of section -3 of the Andhra Pradesh District (Formation) Act 1974,
and after consideration of the objections whichever is possible for better administration
of the public, do hereby notify that the Vijayawada (Urban) Revenue Mandal shall be re-
organized into (4) Urban Revenue Mandals (forming (3) New Urban Revenue Mandals)
by name Vijayawada (East), Vijayawada (Central) Vijayawada (North) and Vijayawada
(West) Revenue Mandals in Vijayawada Revenue Division of Krishna District, with head
quarters as set out in the appended Schedule below with effect from the date of
publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
