Detailed Guidelines For Technical Paper

Paper Submission
Submission of a paper implies: that the same has not been submitted/
published before; that it is not under consideration anywhere else; that its
publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the
responsible authorities of the institution. INSA will not be held legally
responsible should there be any claims of any nature.
Online Submission
Paper should be mailed in soft copy to [email protected]
The file should be in MS Word format. Calculations, if any, should be in MS
Excel format. No other types of files must be forwarded. Other details are as
follows:
Font: Arial 11 points or Time New Roman 12 points.
Spacing between lines – 1.5 lines
Title page
The title page should include:
Title of the paper
The name(s) of the author(s)
Email addresses of all authors
Name of the course in which the author(s) are studying, including the
year of study. E.g. B.Tech. (Marine Engineering), Second Year.
Name of the Maritime Training Institute, including its address; Name
of a contact person with personal phone number and email address.
(This person may be the Head of the institution or any other
responsible person).

Plagiarism
Plagiarism is copying the exact words of another author without using
quotation marks and without referencing the source. It also includes using
the ideas of another author without referencing the source and copying
another student’s work (current or previous) in any format.
Confidentiality
Authors should treat all communication with INSA as confidential which
includes correspondence with direct representatives from the Journal such
as Editors-in-Chief and/or Handling Editors and reviewers’ reports unless
explicit consent has been received to share information.
