Dear Participants,

Welcome to the online program and we look forward to a mutually engaging


interaction in the coming five days. While the current pandemic has restrained our
privilege to host you at our Academy’s campus, we assure to take every care for
providing you the same experience of learning at the comfort of your own place of
stay/work.

During this period, we are sure that every one of you would have got used to online
sessions and virtual mode of learning. The following brief is for your ready reference,
for use and compliance during Intellectual Property Rights and Technology
Commercialization in Agriculture.

Guidelines for the online program for the Participants

1. Workshop WhatsApp group: A WhatsApp group comprising of participants and


course Directors/facilitator has been formed and the same may please be used to reach
us in real time for any clarification/ issue related to the training.

2. Platform: The program will be hosted in Zoom. The link for the training will remain
same for the entire program duration i.e. 15-17 July 2021. Any alternative platform (like
MS Team) will be used in case of any unforeseen issues during the sessions, the details of
which will be shared in WhatsApp group, if need be.

3. Joining the Session: All the participants are requested to join the session 5-10 minutes
before the start of the respective sessions, by clicking on the meeting invitation link.

4. Mode of Joining: As the session involves power point presentation, online exercises
and discussion, it is mandatory for all participants to join using their laptop or desktop
only. Logging in through mobile would seriously compromise the intended learning
exercise and hence is discouraged.

5. Tips for Attending the Session Using Zoom:


Enable Participant Recognition: After logging into the Zoom Session, please change your
screen name as provided in List of Participants, so that all members may easily identify
the participants (Eg. 1-RAGHU-CDSAmreli).
For Managing View - Speaker and Gallery view at the top right corner of the screen, may
be used. Speaker view would enable to see the active speaker, while the Gallery view
would enable viewing of all participants as tiles.
Participating in Discussion: For any clarification during the sessions, type your questions in
chat icon in the bottom of the screen. At the end of each session, the Facilitator would
coordinate with the Resource Persons for answering all the questions. Alternatively, the
participants may also choose to intervene during the session, by clicking the gesture
(raising hand) at the bottom of the screen, and the same will be addressed.

6. Stay Live: During the session, always keep your Video ON and Audio MUTED.
However, participants may mute video during session breaks.

7. Program: The program is scheduled for 3 days; The detailed program schedule is
provided.

8. Course Completion: Attendance in all sessions is mandatory. Course completion


certificate for the Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Commercialization in
Agriculture will be given only to those participants with at least 90% online attendance
with video mode on and also subject to completion of all individual and group exercises;
entry - exit knowledge test and completion of surveys/feedback. There will be no
examination for the participants at the end of the training.
