STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

INTRODUCTION
Hi I am Aija Kirti, I graduated from Acharya Nagarjuna University with a degree in Bachelors of
Commerce, but my passion for commerce goes to further than that i.e., to pursue my Master’s in Sales
and Marketing.
WHAT COURSE?
Masters in Sales and Marketing
WHY THIS COURSE?
It has been firm belief that life’s meaning does not just stem from the actual length of time spent by a
person in living, or the abundance that can be acquired, but in the overall wonderfulness and richness of
life in itself. As my age got increased, a lot of things in my life have also changed. One thing stays
constant, however, that is, the fact that I will still continue to insist doing what I really like to do, hoping
that one day, all of my endeavors will prove to be value to the life of other people. I often see this as the
only available way in which I can completely understand the value of life.
During my undergraduate study, I focused on the field of Commerce, achieving an amazing knowledge in
this area. I received 64% because of my performance in certain extracurricular activities.
My real interest is not really just in the field of Commerce, but also in Sales and Marketing.
I had clearly cherished a great desire to have my own Business. The reason why I’m applying to your
University is that your Business School comes with a time-honored background and history. You offer a
promising program which is highly recognizable with its counterparts within this field.
To me, an interesting shift in the field of Commerce to Sales and Marketing, pursuing an advanced career
in this field is not really a challenge, but an opportunity. I am looking forward to an opportunity to finally
expertise that.
VISION
Desiring to have my own business.
WHY THIS UNIVERSITY?
As I told you earlier, I have heard a lot and read about the university and it is ranked as one of the best
Universities for MBA/PGDM, I like to get my Master’s by experiential learning modules throughout the
course of study, including strategy simulations for enterprises and entrepreneurial ventures, community
consulting programs, workshops and many more.

GOAL
Firstly, I will like to start my own agency that provides array of marketing services to clients in all types
of industries. I will accomplish this by maximizing any marketing position I will fill in order to refine my
skills, getting involved at community and social events to strengthen my connections, and scheduling
informational interviews with current agency owners.
CONCLUSION
Aside from studying, I also firmly believe that University life would give me the opportunity to
communicate with other Students as well as lectures coming from different language and culture
backgrounds. Each individual will certainly allow me to learn something new and refreshing. In turn, I
will also be able to make good contribution to the world of business.
