Lower Langcangan Elementary School conducted a school-based training on continuing


professional development for teachers. dated J 17, 2020 Friday afternoon. The said training started at
exactly 1:00 p.m. It begins with an invocation through an audio-video presentation followed by checking
of attendance. All teachers including our principal were present. The training was about “Determining
Cause and Effect Relationship”. It was thoroughly discussed by our Master-Teacher, Mrs. Ludelie S.
Ventic. She tackled the ways on how to determine it. We were given 3 objectives before she explained
to us the process on how to teach it correctly in which first in line is, it provide appropriate teaching
strategies to teachers. Second is, it enhance methods of teaching to develop comprehension and third is
to intensify literacy practices. She modelled and cited samples to clearly explain the topic. After series
of discussions, we had our workshop right after. We are told to make one output fitted to the grade level
we handled in.

At 3 o’clock, our outputs were presented. We, together with our facilitator checked our
work. We shared our knowledge and luckily we achieved our goal at the end. All of us were grateful for
the said training because it’s very useful to us and it enhances our teaching methods or strategies in
teaching. The session ended at 5:00.

Indeed, it was very harmonious, fruitful and informative afternoon.
