Work in groups of four and make a 5-minute conversation in which you share some
surprising news with your partners, ask for and give recommendations. You need to choose
ONE situation and must use the useful language in the chart below as well as the grammar
and vocabulary you study in the unit.

MANDATORY: This project outcome conversation will be uploaded to the Moodle Platform
in the corresponding task. Make sure the video or the link works.
OPTIONAL: You can send the video or link to the WhatsApp class group.

Situation 1:
You have a job offer at a great new company. The salary is really good, but you will have to
work long hours and you won’t get to see your family very much. Ask for some suggestions
about what to do.

Situation 2:
You found an old ring in your house. You think it belonged to your great grandmother, but
you aren´t sure. You cleaned it and showed it to a friend, who said it was very valuable. You
could sell it for about one million dollars. Tell your partners your news and ask for some
recommendations about what to do.
