PROFILE
• I have been working in the field of Logistics since 1998. I have approximately 18 years of experience in
logistics out of which 2 year whilst managing & developing Agility project operations. My versatile and
rich experience is in Containers Movement, Break Bulk, CFS , Afghan Operations , Oil & Gas & Fleet
Operations this experience gives me the cutting edge over other candidates of my age. I have accomplished
many goals and achieved recognition in all the companies that I have worked for especially in 2016 & 18 for
developing the Fleet arm of Agility from scratch to the point where Agility is now the leading solutions
provider in transport in the local market. I am ambitious, dedicated and loyal and believe in making a

• Ensuring vehicle, equipment and human resources are fully utilized by providing superior customer service, employee

• Formulate, recommend, and administer policies and procedures governing fleet management operations at national
level.

❖ Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT)
August 1998 to December 2007
Joined Karachi International Container Terminal Ltd, A Subsidiary of Hutchison part in Hong Kong, as Operation
Officer. Karachi International Container Terminal Limited (KICTL), the first container terminal at the Port of Karachi, is
Pakistan's leading container terminal operator. In the context of the international trade environment. KICTL plays a
pivotal role in facilitating sea trade of the country. KICTL is the first container terminal operator in Pakistan to be ISPS
compliant and is ISO 9001:2000 certified. It is a subsidiary of the internationally known Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH)
Group and provides its clients with the benefits of expertise.
I have worked in four different departments in KICTL. Started my carrier in operations department where my job was
as a yard planner then shifted to customer service dept in which I took responsibility of the documentation of
export/import and afghan cargo. I have also worked in gates controlling the damages of containers and in/out
movement. In last two years my core responsibility is for Empty and CFS movement and documentation. Following
are the responsibilities I have looked after.

➢ Responsibilities
• Liaison with yard planner for timely shifting of CFS containers to freight station.
• Planning of empty containers in co-ordination with vessel planners from various depots.
• As a CFS in-charge, my top most priority is to move CFS boxes to nominated freight station with provided time
frame and provide satisfactory services to our valued customers/shipping lines. In case of congestion in de-
stuffing sheds, proper correspondence with port authorities and shipping line to sort out the matters as soon as
possible.
• In addition to above responsibilities, I must make sure movement of empty containers from depots located
outside and keep check and balance all the time to avoid any eleventh-hour discrepancy which effect vessel
sailing and vessel productivity.
• Releasing customs holds from Import/Export containers after checking the completion of all formalities such as
payments, routings, etc.
• Monitor all import / export containers movement and assign them decking position in the containers stack.
• Assigned yard equipment to the required areas and closely monitor their performance.
• As a yard planner, it was my responsibility to have a close look on all yard equipment as well as their operators
and keep them busy all the time to improve truck turn time which impact on over all terminal productivity and
efficiency.
