The report presents the leadership services in the human resource management of
Jumeirah Group as providing the greater importance to the services industry. It provides the
essential theories that can be applied gaining success worldwide. The essential aspect of
leadership services is to define the HR policies effectively that can meet the efficient
requirements of the employees. It is recommended to define the improvements in various matters
where leaders are responsible for applying several HRM strategies to the services. Therefore, the
report helps in exploring the roles of the HRM practices within the implementation of the
organization.

The report discusses the leadership services in the HRM of Jumeirah Group. It is the
largest and leading hotel services in the UAE. The report presents the most important aspect of
leadership in the Human Resource Management as defining the Strategic HRM. It offers the
implementation of the HR policies that are effectively meeting the requirements of the
employees. The leadership management is considered as best practices in the HRM management
that can provide reliable outcomes for the development of the skill building management
(Koponen, 2019, p.1). It defines the team building, conceptual management of the understanding
and problem solving skills. It is based on the training programs for the employees that can help
in developing the skills and bringing over the hidden talent from the performances of the
employees. Jumeirah Group employs people as devoted professionals those are experienced in
providing larger aspects related to the hospitality management. The professionals can ensure
support and dedication within the level of the business and implementing daily operations
towards the management of brand development.
Background of the Research
The previous research on the similar topic of leadership in HRM provides the services of
HRM function that is one of the critical and crucial components for the management of the
organizational support and relevant functions. Therefore, the services are analysed for the
management that can ensure the economic performances (Chiu, Balkundi and Weinberg, 2017,
p.335). The components of management can use the HRM function as defining the aspect related
to identifying the leadership development. The HRM functions can help the companies as
working on a collaborative model and considering the potential leaders. It helps in managing the

the companies.

doubt that the HR practices are based on the services of talented leaders those are playing a vital

competitive industry. The leaders in the organizations maintain quality customer service and
providing highly skilled services towards the diverse workforce. Chairman and Chief Executive
of Jumeirah Group with other leaders provide capable services towards the natural ability and
leading the company economically and effectively in the industry. Leaders of Jumeirah Group
are considered as responsible, efficient, initial, managing people accurately and equally, being
honest, hard-working employees , identifying the services and planning, connection of the
membersfor defining and managing change.
The management and leadership of Jumeirah Group seem in creating the hospitality
business attractive to the customers and admiring the services as worthy towards the success of
the organization. The employee recruitment procedure is considered as the important aspect for
the company that can follow the tough guideline for selecting the workers and employees
(Yusrisal and Heryanto, 2019, p.125). The rewards are also given to employees in the form of
financial and non-financial aspects where HRM can manage the rewards. The monitoring of the
performances is based on the regular basis that can help leaders in aligning the services
according to the strategies.

maintained at competitive levels and keeping accuracy for the management of current market
standards in the pricing management of the hospitality business. The management of the pricing
within the hotels and resorts services are used for managing the customers with incorporating
wage range of successful activities, policies, and strategies.
Performance Management: The HR leaders of Jumeirah Group use various standards that are
formed for the employees and considering the management of the performance throughout the
financial year. It can be managed by using the feedbacks of the employees and using the services
as the set of the standards. The feedback helps in providing the continuously efforts towards the
performance measurement and reviewing the services on quarterly basis while checking and

the inappropriate members in hotel can make the specific management. It defines the services to
the direct customer interaction that can affect the position and reputation in the competitive

Some of the theories like Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs theory and Herzberg’s
Motivator-Hygiene theory that are applied on the HR management of leaders in Jumeirah Group.
The theories are used for motivate people where the leaders of a company can manage the
employees. Maslow motivation theory is considered as the popular theory of human motivation.
It is known as the motivation theory that defines the lower level and needs of physiological
aspects in the services. Maslow motivation theory helps the individual in considering the
physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, esteem management, and self-actualization
within services (Vuori, 2018, p.1). Jumeirah Group hires the well trained and skilled employees
for achieving the success of a company. It provides skilful training and development programs
that can manage the efficiency of job. They offer a number of appraisals like employee rewards,
management of the plans, incentives, and performance services for the employees. The services
are used to encourage the individuals and building the careers in the international hospitality
industry.

The leadership management and purpose of the HR management of the Jumeirah Group
define the efficiency in providing facilitation and engagement of the managers and leaders. It

implementing the colleague life-cycle. The core of the cycle seems as developing the primary
framework within the company that can provide the efficient place to work and defining the

leaders of the company Jumeirah Group follow four definite measures of human resource
management that are related to the core of the cycle while delivering efficient HR services,
engagement of the employees, description of the services related to the managers and employees,
and identifying relevant talent worldwide.

The leadership management in the HR department of Jumeirah Group define the service
model in three-fold. The leaders of HR work for achieving the excellence in the sphere of human
resources industry where the company can ensure the people as providing the extensive support,
ensuring efficient management to the operational delivery, and establishing a design towards the
appropriate policies and processes in the services. The practices of the human resource services
of Jumeirah Group seem encompassing five major strategic pillars such as HR operating model,
UAE national development plan, global management strategy management, performance-driven
cultural management, and Jumeirah’s engagement and culture management as well.

The report helps in understanding the HR practices of Jumeirah Group by ensuring the
engagement and culture. The company seems devoted towards the process of reviewing and
promoting the services related to the corporate culture for achieving success and becoming the
worlds’ renowned company in the hospitality industry. The practices of leaders in the
performance-driven culture can connect the services to the design management, implementation,
and the presentation of the high-performance framework within the management and culture of
the country (Othman, Ee and Shi, 2010, p.1). The global resourcing strategy can help in
understanding the innovative technique that can target the Jumeirah and managing the
professionals in the organization.

It has been concluded that the leadership management in the HR of Jumeirah is complex
and unique in the service industry UAE. It seems in maintaining the position for acquiring the
UAE national development where Jumeirah Group is devoted to manage the fostering accounts
of the attraction, retention, and development of the UAE Nations in the world. Therefore, the
services of human resources in Jumeirah groups seem in implementing the operating model that
can link the services with the adoption of appropriate purposes and providing the services along
with the business objectives of the company.

Some of the recommendations that can be used by the leadership management in HR services of

The leaders must be responsible for implementing definite reward system that can offer
various analytical processes to the performance. It can be analysed by providing the
reward and maintaining the presentation and performances of the individual worker.
The leaders in HR are responsible for providing the formation of a panel that can help in
taking care of the individual performance. The panel must be created that can operate the
services at the larger level and can manage the performances of the employees.
The recruitment procedure must be created efficiently that can manage the analytical
services of the actual talent and monitoring the candidates as well.
HRM practices can be managed for implementing services to the employee motivation
and encouraging towards the resources as well. It will help in improving the behaviour of
the employees and providing efficient performance of the HRM practices in the services.
