The Scientific Method

The scientific method is a process used to investigate anomalies and gain knowledge about topics not yet understood. It involves making observations, asking questions, researching background information, developing a hypothesis, conducting experiments to test the hypothesis, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and sharing findings. The objective is to understand natural phenomena through a process of observation, experimentation, and logical analysis to determine whether a hypothesis should be accepted or rejected. Each step in the scientific method builds upon the last to advance scientific understanding.

The Scientific Method

What is the Scientific Method?

The scientific method is useful for subjects like biology, chemistry, etc. It is a
way in which through the observation, we can formulate a hypothesis and try
to test if this hypothesis is true or not, this with experiments, analysis, etc,
and generating conclusions to the topic. The purpose of it is to gain
knowledge about a topic which has not been found and is the interest of a
biologist or doctor, etc. which has observed it.

Objective

The objective of the scientific method is to undertsand anomalies or

irregularities of the natural world that have been seen or notify by scientists.
In order to understand this problems of nature, scientist use the scientific
method to try to find an answer and share it with the world. This tool is one of
the most effective ones for proving hypothesis, as it requieres observation
and experiments, making the experiments very important in order to justify
the hypothesis or change it. Every aspect of the scientific method is
important as each step leads towards the conclusion which is the approval or
not of the hypothesis

Explanation of each step

Steps of the Scientific Method
Observation: The scientist or person observes an
anomaly in nature or something that activates his/her
curiosity. It inmediatly activates the feel for investigate
about this event.

Questions and background research: Starts Start questioning and Make

Observation
investigating about what he/she has seen and inquires background research hypothesis
about the subject and makes questions about it.

Hypothesis: Once we have inquire and have some

knowledge about the topic, its time for the hypothesis, Compare
Draw
what could possibly happen here?, what is the reason results with
conclusions Plan an
why this event is happening?, which factors are hypothesis
involved?, etc experiment to
proof
Analyze data hypothesis
from
Experimentation: First, we plan an experiment which Share experiment
could proof that our hypothesis is real or not. With knowledge
investigation we design an experiment capable of with people
solving our problems. Then we conduct the experiment and other
and record each data that this shows us. We must do Make sure to test
scientists your experiment at
this experiment at least 3 or 5 times because Conduct
least 3 or 5 times, in
experimentation is not perfect and we would have a order to get more experiment
margin of error, so with more experimentation, that reliable data and a
margin would reduce, tending into more factual data stronger conclusion

Analyze and compare data from experiment: After all

the experimentation have been done. Its time for the
analysis of the information that we´ve got. We compare
it to our prevoius knowledge and hypothesis and see if
we were correct or not

Draw conclusions: Once we know that our hypothesis is

correct, we draw conclusions about it in an inform or
journal, etc
