D. Value focus: Obedience, Unity & Cooperation
III. DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY:
A. PRE-ACTIVITY:
1. Review
How do we add integers using the number line?
2. Motivation:
Can integers be added without the number line?

1. ACTIVITY
" I AM A GOOD FOLLOWER "
The teacher will be the facilitator. Students will follow the
facilitators command.
Example:

examples from example 1 and example number 2.
Samples will be posted on the board.
3. ABSTRACTION:
What have you noticed with our two examples?
How can we add integers with similar signs?
4. APPLICATION:
POP CORN RECITATION
Find the sum of the following?
1. (– 120 + ( - 150 )
2. ( - 3 ) + ( - 22 )
3. ( +40) + ( + 55 )
4. ( +40) + ( + 55 )
5. ( - 63 ) + ( - 9 )
IV. EVALUATION:
A. Find the sum of the following:
1. ( – 1.111 ) + ( - 3.333 )
2. ( 55 ) + ( 15 )
3. ( 100 ) + ( + 218 )
