De Monthly Assessment-III

This document summarizes a monthly assessment of a student project involving the design, prototyping, and testing of a wind turbine. The assessment notes that the project involves concepts of conservation of energy and mass. The student learned how to use HAWC2 software and conservation of energy topics. A prototype was created using materials like glass fiber, lightweight resistors, and LED lights to generate electricity from wind power. Several iterations were made to refine the wind turbine's performance in different atmospheric conditions. The project has applications for powering areas without consistent electricity access or street lights on highways. The evaluator provides suggestions to improve the prototype and notes an overall mark out of 10 for assessments of the project to date.

MONTHLY ASSESSMENT -III (Detail Design, Prototype and Test phase)

(This assessment shall be done by another guide of department or

interdepartmentally along with guide) (DATE : / / )
1. Which theoretical subjects/concepts are involved with your project? How it is useful to your
project?

 Conservation of energy and conservation of mass are involved our project.

 Wind mill work basic principle instead of using electric city to make wind like a fan use wind
to make electric city.

2. Which software/design tool/Skills you have learned/applied during the project? Explain the
features of it.

 During a project HAWC2 software are use.

 We have learned conservation of energy topic.

3. Explain the prototype/model prepared by the student/team.

 The wind mill is use full for generating electric city by using of wind.
 Wind mill is operate on a simple principle the energy in the wind turns two or three
propeller around a rotor. The rotor is connected to the main shaft which spins a generator to
create electric city.

4. What are the materials, technology, things have utilized to make the prototype/model?

 In prototype we have use glass fiber, light weight resistance, led light, wind blade
etc.

7
5. How many Iterations have you done to reach final solution? Explain modification/revise
parameters/characteristics for each iteration.

 There are many iteration to reach final solution modification of wind mill
performance by atmospheric regimes.

6. What is the scope of the project? How you are planning to implement it in future?

 This project are very use full for in which area there are not supplied continuous
electric city and also use full for high way street light.
