II. RATIONALE:
Supplementary feeding may help for malnourish children aged 6-59 months, pregnant and
lactating mothers by optimizing the nutritional value and adequacy of the diet, improving
quality of life. Consuming adequate amounts of food as well as a variety of foods daily helps
ensure the mother and infant are obtaining proper nutrition needed for growth and
development.
III. OBJECTIVES:
To improve the nutritional health of the pregnant, lactating mothers and malnourish
children6-59 months. To provide an estimate of the nutritional requirements of children with
moderate malnutrition, examining wasted and stunted children separately. To formulate
recommendations to improve the dietary management of moderate malnutrition.
IV. ACTIVITIES:
PROJECT ACTIVITIES
In 3 months program of feeding, before feeding must collect baseline data of pregnant
mother, lacatating mothers, and malnourished children age 6-59 months.
To feed pregnant mothers and lactating mothers during prenatal schedule of barangay health
station.
To feed moderate malnourished children age 6-59 months during schedule of national
immunization program (NIP) of barangay health station.
Provide essential information about nutrition during this schedule of activities.

1. Rice
2. Brown Sugar
3. Bearbrand Powder Milk 350g
4. Tablea (Flattened circle ground-up Cocoa beans)
EVALUATION
Assessing the nutritional status of the target client base on baseline data was collected.
V. EXPECTED OUTPUT
To decrease the number of malnourished children and maintain good health of pregnant
mothers and lactating mothers.
