2. The Malolos Constitution was enacted on January 20,1899 by the Philippine Malolos Congress,
and established the First Philippine Republic.
3. During Malolos Constitution, the Battle of Manila Bay in the year 1898 was led by George
Dewey.
4. Battle of Manila Bay was the second major battle between Spanish and American war.

5. These three peoples namely: Emilio Aguinaldo, Pedro Paterno & Gov. Gen. Primo de Rivera are
the one who end the clashes between Filipinos and Spaniards.
6. July 1897, Bonifacio established the Biak-na-bato Republic and issued a proclamation stating the
following demands.
7. The Biak-na-bato Constitution was based on the Cuban Constitution.

8. June 12, 1898 was the declaration of the Philippine Independence.

9. The Biak-na-Bato Constitution were provided a supreme council namely: Emilio Aguinaldo &
Emilio Jacinto.
10. Emilio Aguinaldo established his headquarters in Biak-na-Bato in the province of Bulacan.

11. Manuel Luis Quezon was elected as president during the Commonwealth Constitution.

12. The draft of the Commonwealth Constitution was approved by the constitutional convention on
February 1935, and ratified by then U. S. President Franklin B. Roosevelt on March 25, 1935.
13. 1935 Constitution was written in the year 1933.

14. Constitutional Authoritarianism is the first important Filipino document ever produced by the
people’s representatives.
15. Diego de los Rios is the last Spanish Governor-General of the Philippines.
