Students}

GOVERNANCE OF SOCIAL & ECONOMIC SYSTEMS (with focus on WOMEN)

Citizen, Inclusion, & Sustainability. Create a solution to bridge the digital divide between the
rich & the poor and make government offerings more accessible to them.

Checkboxes:
 Login System: User identity is anonymous for other users, but login is required if
s/he wants to file complaint. Verification of user must require by OTP/Email.
 Information Disposal System: An application to educate citizens (mainly women) of
the various schemes of the government, for the empowerment and welfare of
women. This also has information on areas concerning women such as health check-
ups, nutrition tips, hygiene methods, how to apply for basic documentation, bank
transactions, investments, interview tips etc
 Chatbot which provides info along with a system to chat with Managers for
addressing complaints
 Complaint Management System: Admin can control the system, Managers will see
the complete process, Normal users can file complaints, login in the system, and
view the actions taken. Admin can also remove the complaints if he/she finds that
complaint is irrelevant. Admins and Managers are government employees

from click-to-cash and procure-to- pay perspective. Bringing procure to pay in ecommerce
business. Design a best-in-class procure-to-pay software solution.

Checkboxes:
 Automated purchasing lifecycle with unified platform for users to search goods &
services. A system to manage catalogs and requisitions while focusing on enhanced
user experience and greater productivity
 Tax Support System: A system to add, validate taxes on requisitions, purchase orders
and automatic invoices.
 Create a communication platform allowing members of teams to chat and share
information.
 Transactional Data and Enterprise level data dashboard. It should also allow users /
admin to track spending by business unit, department & purchasing organization.

2. Composite Index

Functionality Index
Innovation Index
Performance Index

2.1.Innovation Index

How unique or creative is the concept of product or solution? The scores will be provided as
follows:

 Is there already an existing project accomplished the same goal/functionality:

0-3
 The new product provides a better/faster/clearer way to attack the problem
than the old one: 4-5
 The new product tackles a problem that has been overlooked/ignored in the
past, or attacks a problem with a new angle / on a bigger scale / on a higher
level: 6-8
 The new product attacks a new problem and provided a good solution: 9-10

2.2.Functionality Index

Does the product/Service works well as claimed by the team?

 Application/website crashes frequently: 1-3

 Application/website works, but with limited functionality: 4-7
 Application/website is fully functional: 8-10

 Customer/User Experience:

Overall customer experience and ease of use of the product

 not really intuitive or clear, sloppy: 0-4

 usable and clear: 5-7
 very intuitive, flow of app makes sense, clear, easy to use at first glance,
professional/fun: 8-10

 Alignment of the solution with the proposed tracks:

 Poor alignment: 1-3
 Average alignment: 4-6
 Exceptional Alignment: 7-10
2.3.System Performance and Technical implementation Index

How effective is the technical implementation (utilizing APIs, Cloud etc.) of the product?

 Poor Implementation, no usage of cloud: 1-2

 Average Implementation, used cloud: 3-6
 Superior implementation, used cloud: 7-10

Comparison:
Platform’s list: Redhat, GCP, Azure, AWS & Python
Aim: Selection of more than 1 platforms as diversity attracts more talent
Features – CBA (Cost Benefit Analysis – Depends on the quote), Popularity, Communication,
Language Support, Ease of debugging, Efficiency & Tech Support.

Efficiency: This is a basic idea assuming there are no additional Service Call KPIs for each
submission

All Cloud Independent Development Environments (IDEs) should give time and space
complexity
Step1: Evaluate the submissions
Step2: Calculation of Efficiency Score

Time Complexity: Time complexity is a function describing the amount of time an algorithm
takes in terms of the amount of input to the algorithm. In milliseconds

Space Complexity: Space complexity is a function describing the amount of memory (space)
an algorithm takes in terms of the amount of input to the algorithm. In KB
Then, We create a multiplicative score of Space Complexity (A) & Time Complexity (B)
Score: AxB
Here, A & B are a relative score of teams from 1 to 10 where 10 represents 100 th percentile
& 1 0th percentile

Evaluation:

Stage 1: Teams need to submit three things: PPT, explaining the idea and the solution; 1-
minute video, demonstrating the prototype; and the source code.
 1/2-slider Presentation in .ppt or .pptx format detailing the idea
 1-minute video demonstrating the working prototype (Code)
 Source code of the prototype and any other relevant documentation in one zip file
which should not exceed 15 MB in size

Presentation Format:

 Stage 1: Theme chosen, problem statement, proposed solution in brief, team details
 There is no format for other slides. You can use your creativity to make the best
presentation.

Evaluation criteria:

 Creativity and Novelty of the Idea (against what exists)

 Use in real life
 Coding Standards (Use of Comments and code readability)
 Coding Standards (Modularity – Use of multiple files for different modules)
Stage 2: Final Round:

 Teams need to make a presentation of the idea and the prototype

 Teams will be given 8 minutes to present followed by 7 minutes of Q&A. In total, a
team will have 15 minutes
 Source code of all the top scorers that move to the Finale will be evaluated for
authenticity. This is done towards the end for the Finale to ensure that only the best
moves forward
