"There is no connectedness without unity and no unity without self-awareness"

The quote itself is meaningful and can also relate and describe the communities and societies that are still operating
and performing at present times and I'm sure would stay that way for more generations to come. But the quote in
its standard form can only tell as much. Explicating the phrase would do so much as breaking its curtailment and
divulge its full meaning, potential, and the amount of realization and understanding you'll learn from it. Let's break
down the phrase first. "There is no connectedness without unity and no unity without self-awareness." The first bit
"There is no connectedness without unity" basically implies that without unity there is no connection, which is true
as unity means "being united" or "joined as a whole" that elucidates the fact of connectedness and unity are almost
one and the same but have some slight differences in their meanings. The power of having connections to other
people can and will soon result in those people having unity, meaning they'll perform much more efficiently than
others. As the saying goes "two brains are better than one". Though having connections with other people doesn't
necessarily mean that you'll both be able to perform and carry out tasks as a team because you and the person that
you have a connection with, both of you still don't know what each other's strengths and capabilities are, as such
you won't be able to harmonize with each other. And this is where the second bit of the phrase comes in. "and no
unity without self-awareness". To be able to recognize each other's strengths and capabilities, you must first know
what your own limits and proficiency lie, which means you have to be self-aware of what you can and can't do.
Knowing what your own strengths and capabilities would do so much as play an important part in obtaining unity.
Being able to realize ones' weakness and power relies on having and being self-aware. With self-awareness, you'll
be able to know your own skills and limits which you can then share the knowledge with the people you have
connections with. As such, this action would lead to the both of you being able to work in unity because both of
you know what your own strengths and weaknesses are. Knowing those would result in teamwork because, with
that knowledge, you'll know when to help your partners and colleagues without worsening the situation at hand.
Thus the phrase goes, connectedness equals unity but without self-awareness, no unity can be made. Unity relies on
each individual's capabilities to work as one.
