Barcode Scanning
There are two methods of electronically scanning barcodes:
1. Use a barcode scanner
2. Use the Preclarus App on a smartphone
Your barcode scanner will be sent to you in a box. Inside the box is a Quick Start Guide to help you set up the scanner
and use it correctly.
After initial set up and before scanning can begin you will need to set the scanner to the keyboard for your country. This is very simple!
In the Quick Start Guide you will see a section titled Keyboard Country.
1. Use your scanner to scan the
barcode to set your keyboard
country.
2. Next, look for the country code – in
this example we are using Italy,
1
which is set as number 5.
3. Now, check the Programming
Chart to find the barcode for Italy (3) 2
and scan it.
3
4. Finally, scan the Save barcode to
save your keyboard settings.
