1 Purpose 

The  Quality  Standards  are  enacted  in  order  to  define  quality  requirement  of  tomato  paste 
36/38%CB of Cofco Tunhe factories.   

2 Scope of Application 

Tomatoes are harvested, graded, sorted, broken and made into tomato paste, free of 
seed/peel particles and other material through finishers, evaporators and flash coolers and 
the standards herein apply to tomato paste products packed in 220L steel drums or 1000L 
bins.

3.1 Radioactivity limitation targets shall conform to the national standard or the buyer’s

5 Packing   

5.1 Goglio aseptic packaging is applied. The product is aseptically packed into white (light
blue), transparent, even and neat polyethylene film with thickness of 0.08 mm;

5.2 Four steel drums in a wooden pallet:


- volume: 220L
- Drum open mouth path: 553(±3)mm
- Drum inside path: 546(±3)mm
- Drum outside high: 990(±3)mm

5.3 Wooden bins:


- volume: 1000L
- Size: 1120mm×1120mm×1115mm

6 Shelf Life and Storing Conditions 
6.1 The product shall be stored in clean, ventilated and dry conditions with temperatures 
between ‐20℃ and +30℃ , can be stored in indoors or outdoors according to actual 
circumstances. 
6.2 The product has a shelf life of 24 months from the production date.
